Chapter 160 The Anderson Group Will Be Ruined
Brandon found himself recalling how he used to get along with Emily.
It all felt incredibly awkward to him.
He looked at Emily seriously. “Emily, are you really not dating Chase or Eric?”
Emily stared at Brandon in shock, her expression changing rapidly, looking completely bewildered.
A few seconds later, her eyes widened, and tears slid down her cheeks. “Brandon, if everyone else misunderstands me, how could you, too?”
“Anyone who sees that video would think there’s something going on between you,” Brandon explained patiently. “I’m trying to get the facts straight so we can figure out how to handle this.”
Emily sobbed, shaking her head. “No. I didn’t. You will always be my brothers. How could I ever think about it?”
“Alright then,” Brandon said, rubbing his temples in frustration.
His headache returned, and he felt powerless to control it.
He was about to tell the driver to take them back to the Andersons‘ place when his phone suddenly rang.
His phone suddenly rang.
Brandon glanced at the screen, and his face grew tense.
He looked at Emily. “It’s Dad.”
When Emily heard it was Edgar calling, her expression shifted, and she looked totally freaked out.
She thought, ‘Dad must have seen all those comments online.
‘Brandon had taken me away from the studio, and now Edgar is calling him.
‘He’s calling Brandon to get to me.‘
Sure enough, when Brandon answered, Edgar’s cold voice came through. “Bring her to the company.”
“Dad-” Brandon tried to say something, but Edgar hung up before he could get a word out.
Brandon stared at his phone, his face grim and tense.
“Dad must be really pissed,” he muttered.
Emily couldn’t stop shaking, fear making her shiver.
Brandon instinctively reached out, wanting to pull her into his arms.
But halfway there, his mind flashed with scenes of Emily and Chase. Their eyes locked, Chase holding her chin, leaning in
as if to kiss her.
An uneasy feeling crept up on him, making him suddenly feel awkward.
He pulled his hand back. “Since you chose to go on that live show, you should’ve been ready to face the consequences.
୮ Whatever happens, you can’t avoid it.” Brandon tried to reassure her.
Emily could totally sense Brandon keeping his distance from her, as if he didn’t want to touch her anymore.
She felt more hurt and unfairly treated.
She couldn’t help but start to hate Kayla, who was the reason she was humiliated today.
She’d already arranged for someone to kidnap Kayla as soon as the show was over.
She wasn’t going to get her 6 million dollars back.
She was going to make Kayla suffer for it, to pay dearly, no matter what.
Emily gripped her phone tightly, scrolling through the messages from those so–called friends who used to suck up to her.
Every single one of them was mocking her.
Some went so far as to call her a fake, someone trying way too hard to fit in with the elite.
The ones she’d asked for money were harsher, each one glad they hadn’t lent her any money.
They joked, “Was she asking for money because she knew her real identity was about to be exposed, and wanted to cash out before running away?”
Emily was so pissed she almost wanted to throw her phone out the window.

She thought, ‘Those hitches used te grovel at my feet, and now they’ve got the nerve to mock me?
#hey blew through my money as if it were nothing.
‘So what if I’m not the real heiress? As long as I’m the one the Anderson family favors, I’m still their heiress.
‘I’m still the one they look up to, and someone they can’t afford to offend.
‘How dare they mock me? Who do they think they are?‘
The more Emily thought about it, the angrier she got. She was so mad that she almost wanted to chuck her phone out the window.
But she gritted her teeth and forced herself to hold back.
She was about to turn off her phone when a notification from Twitter popped up.
Then, a notification popped up at the top of her screen.
Ryan had posted on Twitter.
Emily had a sinking feeling in her chest.
Bracing herself, she tapped open Ryan’s Twitter post.
Ryan had posted two photos.
The first showed a table piled high with delicious food; just seeing it was enough to make anyone instantly hungry.
The second was a group photo: Ryan standing next to Whitney, with Henry, Elian, Nora, arid Henry’s daughter all smiling for the camera.
The caption read: [Hanging out at Wild Beauty’s place. Had a great time.]
Everyone in the photo was grinning from ear to ear.
Ryan couldn’t take his eyes off Whitney the whole time.
He looked like a lovesick guy, totally smitten and staring at her as if she were the only person in the room.
The post had only been up for two minutes, but the comments blew up, with over a hundred thousand replies already.
The comments section was packed, with tens of thousands piling in.

Ryan’s fans were losing their minds, flooding the comments with excited screams.
The words “Wild Beauty’s place” and “hanging out” made it obvious that Ryan was showing everyone that the villa at Prestige Manor really belonged to Whitney.
Not something she borrowed from him, as Emily had assumed.
Whitney actually owned her own villa at Prestige Manor.
And Ryan himself had confirmed it.
Instantly, the rumors that Emily and Kayla had spread on the show, hinting that Whitney had traded her body for a villa at Prestige Manor, were dragged out again, and everyone was mocking them mercilessly.
Some people started dragging the Anderson Group into it.

They were all making fun of the Anderson Group for mistaking a fake for the real deal, always going on about how their own daughter or sister was crashing at the Andersons‘ place.
