Chapter 59 Both Legends Are Unbelievably Cool
Ryan and Whitney worked together flawlessly.
After getting the two lifeguards ashore, Whitney reached for Ryan, intending to pull him onto the raft.
Ryan glanced at the raft, then at the jet ski, and said, “Wait a moment.”
Then he dove back into the water.
A moment later, the raft slightly wobbled and drifted slowly toward the other jet ski
Whitney realized what Ryan was trying to do. Her lashes fluttered slightly, and a complicated look flickered in her eyes “Get up here now. The storm is coming soon,” she called out.
She secured the raft to her jet ski.
That meant she had to keep her jet ski steady while balancing the raft to avoid it being swept away by the wind and waves.
The task was even harder than the way they came.
Ryan knew exactly how tough that was, so he tied the rope at the other end of the raft to his jet ski.
That way, two jet skis could pull the raft together, keeping it more stable and easing Whitney’s burden.
Yet there was a hidden risk.
They had to be perfectly in sync.
If just one jet ski fell out of sync, the raft would flip instantly, and the other jet ski would go down too. “Don’t you trust me, or don’t you trust yourself?” Ryan asked.
He came up out of the water. His voice was deep and magnetic, drifting through a faint mist of sea spray. He flipped himself up and landed steadily on his jet ski, soaked from head to toe.
Every move he made was sleek and breathtakingly handsome.
Even Whitney froze for a split second, taken aback by his moves.
Ryan clearly wasn’t as weak as she had thought.
“Stunned by how cool look?” Ryan asked with a lazy, playful smile.
Whitney’s lashes fluttered. She met Ryan’s eyes, bright with teasing laughter.
She pressed her lips together and turned away without a single reply, sat down on her jet ski, and said coldly, “Keep up.” The two jet skis raced side by side across the sea at the same speed, maintaining a steady distance and direction. Water splashed everywhere, and waves kept churning.
The raft followed steadily and fast behind the jet skis, almost flying.
The two lifeguards clung to the raft, their hands holding the ropes tightly. Their faces were almost numb from the wind and salt spray.
If a rope hadn’t somehow gotten wrapped around them, lashing them tight to the raft, they would have been thrown off the moment the jet skis surged forward.
‘That girl, Whitney, she really had thought of everything,‘ one of them thought.
The journey back was still hard.
Raging waves surged more fiercely and densely than before, barely leaving anyone a chance to breathe.
The once bright blue sky darkened into deep, inky black, painting the endless ocean with a deep, inky blue. The jet skis slowed down a lot.
Watching on their screens, the audience felt their hearts tighten once more.
Everyone thought, ‘They are so close.
‘Ryan and Whitney were just a little bit away from bringing the lifeguards back safely.
‘The lifeguards will be okay.
‘And Ryan and Whitney will be okay, too.
‘They are both so good at driving jet skis. Nothing bad will happen to them.‘”
While the audience was praying for them to come back safe, a huge wave came crashing down.

Chapter 59 Both Legends Are Unbelievably Cool
The audience couldn’t stop themselves from gasping.
But Whitney, stunning and composed, simply turned her head and looked at Ryan on the other jet ski.
Their eyes met.
No words were exchanged between them. Still, bright, sparkling sparks shone in their eyes, glittering brilliantly amid the crashing waves.
Whoosh!
Both jet skis suddenly went faster at the exact same moment.
Right when the wave was about to crash down and cover them, the two jet skis turned hard in the same direction.
Splash!
They both did perfect drifts. Same speed. Same direction. Perfect
The raging wave seemed to split apart in an instant.
The raft behind them turned smoothly amid the split waves.
[Wow. What a breathtaking display of skill.]
[How did they even do that? They work together so well!]
[I once thought Wild Beauty only knew Chase and Emily, yet now I suspect she and Ryan have long been close.] [Stop joking! If someone that pretty had been around Ryan, his fans would have found out a long time ago.]
[Exactly! Don’t underestimate the investigative skills of Ryan’s fans.]
[Look, the flag of the safe zone! They’re heading for shore.]
[It’s real. They’re in the safe zone.]
The safe zone the production team set up was pretty big.
But the jet skis were so fast that the gap shrank from a few hundred yards to just fifty yards in seconds. Everyone watched with bated breath, staring at the approaching jet skis and the steadily floating raft.
The sea was rough. Water splashed everywhere.
The two jet skis stopped smoothly at the shore.
Staff members rushed forward, ready to check if Ryan and Whitney had any injuries.
Whitney waved them off. Her voice was calm, like always. “I’m fine. Please step back and help the lifeguards first.”
She stepped off the jet ski with light, graceful movements.
Her clothes were soaked through, and a few loose strands of hair stuck to her cheeks and her neck. It only made her pretty face look even more beautiful.
She didn’t wait around. She turned and walked with the staff members to the raft. Together, they pulled it out of the water and onto the shore.
The two lifeguards were already sleepy and lost.
But their faces still had that shocked look on them.
After the ropes were untied and they were turned over, the doctors started helping them right away.
The lifeguards were still confused and half asleep. But one thought kept going through their minds:
This was the craziest, most unbelievable thing they had ever seen in more than ten years of rescue work.
They had been swallowed by huge waves. But they came back alive.
[So cool! Ryan and Whitney are peerless. The two legends shine like stars.]
[I’m Whitney’s fan from today. I will stand up for her against every unfair remark.] [Whitney is amazing!]
At that moment, everyone watching had the same look as the two lifeguards.
Their mouths were open. They couldn’t calm down for a long time.
After a few quiet seconds, the comments went completely wild.
Everyone was too amazed by Whitney and Ryan to think straight.
All they could think was. These two stars are just ridiculously awesome!‘
