Chapter 85 Whitney Looks at Ryan in Disqust
Chapter 85 Whitney Looks at Ryan in Disgust
[A bunch of brain–dead fans are still here trying to defend her. If Whitney wasn’t out to seduce Ryan, why would she be the one taking care of him when he had a high fever?
[There were tons of staff and a professional doctor on set. Did they really need her for that?]
[Ryan can’t stand scheming women who cling to him! Don’t try to link Ryan with Whitney.]
[Whitney came back to the stream? Bet Ryan kicked her out. Ryan doesn’t need her fussing over him!]
The stream was blowing up.
Even yesterday, there were plenty of clips showing Ryan trailing after Whitney and wiping her hands for her. All those moves were totally on his own.
Still, some of Ryan’s hardcore solo fans insisted that Whitney was the one making moves on him.
Of course, a good chunk of the comments came from paid troll teams who’d been camped out in the stream since the crack of dawn.
Suddenly, a beautiful, fair hand reached into the shot.
The hand was holding a water bottle and a towel.
Then came a man’s deep, rich voice, intoxicating like fine wine. “Why didn’t you call me for the morning run?”
Whitney grabbed the towel and wiped her face carelessly, then picked up the water bottle and chugged down half of it.
She looked like she was trying to win a drinking contest with that boldness.
Whitney shot him a sidelong glance. “Call you? You got over being sick, and you think you can keep up with me on a morning run? I’d probably have to carry you home.”
Her tone was plain with disdain.
She set the bottle down, about to screw the cap back on.
But before she could, that slender, fair hand grabbed her wrist. “Wild Beauty, don’t underestimate me.”
With a sudden tug, he pulled her closer by the wrist.
The camera caught Ryan’s face in full view. So breathtaking that it could make anyone fall for him, and so cold and untouchable, he seemed almost otherworldly.
He raised an eyebrow, then yanked Whitney straight into his embrace. “I’m not as fragile as you think.
“Running is no problem for me.”
Whitney was speechless. She thought, ‘Okay, sure, but did he really have to pull me in this close to say it?’
Ryan narrowed his deep, elegant eyes. “Make sure you take me with you tomorrow, alright?”
Whitney rolled her eyes. “Do you have to follow me everywhere? Seriously, are you that clingy?”
Ryan’s thin lips slowly curved into a subtle smile.
He lowered his gaze, his eyes deep and lingering.
“Alright, alright, I’ll call you tomorrow. Can you let go of me now?” Whitney said. She was starting to feel uneasy under his
stare.
Ryan’s smile grew, and he released her hand.
The stream was blowing up: [Aaaaaah!]
All those Ryan’s fans and paid trolls who’d been running their mouths now felt totally slapped in the face. They shut up instantly.
Someone thought, ‘So much for Whitney seducing Ryan, huh?
‘Wasn’t Whitney supposed to be the clingy one?
‘Guess Ryan kicked Whitney out, right?
‘Ryan would never follow Whitney around? Yeah, right.
“Seriously, it was Ryan who couldn’t stop sticking to Whitney!
‘Whitney was clearly fed up with him. Her tone screamed annoyance.
She thought Ryan was such a hassle!‘

At that moment, Ryan’s Fans couldn’t help but think, ‘Is there really a woman out there who could actually say no to Ryan?
Honestly, the guys would lose their composure seeing Ryan’s god–tier looks, and nobody could keep it together!
The paid trolls were totally desperate now.
Ryan couldn’t stop orbiting Whitney. He didn’t care one bit about showing how close he was to her right in front of the
cameras.
This shuts them up for good.
Just like Wild Beauty’s Fans said, Whitney didn’t need to defend herself or address any rumors. The stream itself proved everything.
That was spot on.
Now, they had absolutely no ammo left to hate on her.
They could already picture it that once filming was over, Ryan and Whitney would see all the gossip online.
They thought, ‘If Ryan actually got mad about it, we’d all be dead meat.
‘Making money is tough, and this job is total crap. Do we really have to put up with this for a paycheck?‘
They were already regretting it.
They felt like crying.
The stream’s management and the paid trolls were all ready to throw in the towel and run for it.
But on one hand, they were scared of the unpredictable Ryan since no one knew if he would actually step in and make their lives hell.
On the other hand, they were terrified of Brandon, the CEO of the Anderson family, whose ruthless reputation preceded him.
If they really bailed, they wouldn’t need Ryan to do anything because Brandon would never let them off the hook.
Now they were truly stuck between a rock and a hard place.
The stream’s management and the paid trolls were all looking super stressed, brows furrowed in worry.

On the wild island, after a short rest, Whitney brought Ryan along to make breakfast.
Whitney had plenty of ingredients, so out of habit, she made breakfast for the other three as well.
But things were way tougher for Emily and her group of five.
Every day, they had to hustle through tasks to trade for food, and sometimes there still wasn’t enough. The other three had to scrape together whatever they could to make sure Emily, their little princess, got taken care of first.
There wasn’t enough breakfast to feed all five of them.
So in the end, all they could do was stare longingly, full of jealousy and frustration, as Whitney’s crew ate with tears of satisfaction in their eyes, totally content.
But today, Emily didn’t make everyone go hungry so she and her brother could have the only food. They didn’t have to sacrifice for her.
Instead, she had everyone split the food evenly.
Then, she balled up her fists and sweetly cheered everyone on, “We’ll definitely get enough food today. If we eat well, we’ll have the energy to keep fighting. Let’s all give it our best!”
After that, her eyes sparkled as she flashed a warm, radiant smile.
She was practically bursting with positive vibes.
The other three were totally scoffing at her on the inside, but had to put on a fake smile and shower Emily with compliments for the cameras.
Whenever they managed to dodge the cameras, they couldn’t help but make faces.
Even splitting it up, there was barely enough for everyone to get a mouthful. Seriously, it wouldn’t fill the gap between their
teeth.
Someone thought, ‘Let’s be real, isn’t she trying to play up her persona?‘
Anyway, ever since that whole mess at sea, Emily’s image on camera had done a total 180.
She was much friendlier on camera.
Chapter 85 Whitney Looks at Ryan in Disqust
Yesterday, she didn’t force everyone else to take on all the dangerous tasks because she was the Anderson family’s princess.
Instead, she was super cooperative, following the show’s instructions to the letter..
She was all positive vibes, super enthusiastic, and eager in front of the cameras.
Emily was working overtime to fix her reputation, hoping the viewers would wash away that whole “left someone to die”
mess.
The others totally saw through her, but hey, they went along and played their parts anyway.
After hyping everyone up, Emily took a few bites of her bread, then glanced over at the other table where Whitney and her crew were digging into steaming oatmeal and eggs.
Suddenly, the bread in her mouth felt tasteless and hard to swallow, like chewing on sawdust.
She pursed her lips, then abruptly stood up and headed toward Whitney’s table.
“Whitney…” Emily called out.
She spoke in a meek, almost timid tone.
Her wide, beautiful eyes timidly glanced at Whitney
She really looked like she was always the pitiful little thing bullied by Whitney.
