Jade noticed her relaxing. "So, do you like it?"
"It's nice. Really nice."
"Then I'll bring you here more often. You've just been wound too tight, spending your whole life living for other people."
Willow thought about it and realized Jade was entirely right.
They chatted a bit more before Jade's phone suddenly rang. That was the reality of her profession—clients could call at any given moment. Seeing that Willow was finally comfortable, she excused herself to take the call outside.
Once Jade left, Willow shifted to a different seat—one that was out of the way but offered a much better view of the stage.
The performer had changed at some point. From a distance, Willow couldn't quite make out her facial features, but it was obvious she was a gorgeous woman with incredible poise and a stunning figure.
From the moment she stepped onto the stage, the crowd hadn't stopped taking photos and showering her with praise. Everyone seemed mesmerized by her beauty and elegant presence.
Under the spotlight, the woman began to play the piano. The white dress, the striking beauty, and the graceful melody instantly ignited the atmosphere in the room. Just as the song ended, she took the microphone and announced that she had played the piece for a very specific person. It was his birthday, and she wanted to wish him a happy birthday.
