Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 399

The moment she ushered Smith into the conference room, Vivienne spun around, stormed back into the hallway, and snapped at the staff. "Tear all this garbage down, right now! When this meeting is over, I don't want to see a single trace of this left!"

The employees were totally blindsided. They had spent hours that morning setting up the massive display under her strict orders, only to be told to trash it immediately. One bolder employee couldn't hold back. "Ms. Sinclair, did we do something wrong? We set everything up exactly how you asked. Taking it down instantly... isn't that a massive waste of money?"

Vivienne's entire focus was on doing damage control with Smith. She didn't have the patience to coddle the staff, and explaining the real reason would be an admission of her own humiliating failure.

Her face twisted into a vicious glare. "I said tear it down, so tear it down! Do you want to keep your job or not? If you want a paycheck, shut up and work. If this hallway isn't spotless by the time I walk out of that meeting, you're all fired. Anyone who has a problem with that can get the hell out right now."

The threat silenced the room. Terrified, the staff immediately scrambled to pull down the decorations, muttering panicked agreements.

But the second she disappeared behind the conference room doors, the resentment boiled over. "What a psycho! Scream at us to build it, scream at us to trash it. She changes her mind five hundred times a day. It's exhausting!"

"Tell me about it. Working for her is a nightmare. It's not a job, it's babysitting a spoiled princess. No wonder Leo and his team walked."
