Three Years Forgotten, Why Go Crazy When I Say Goodbye? novel Chapter 449

Mayor Henderson, walking silently beside them, heard every word. Looking at this seemingly fragile young woman, he realized with absolute certainty that she was entirely different from anyone else who had come here.

Upon returning to the mayor's house, Willow and Leo immediately spotted Vivienne waiting by the front door.

She wasn't there out of the goodness of her heart. She was waiting to relish the sight of their humiliating defeat and tear them to shreds with her mockery.

But as their figures grew closer, the smirk on Vivienne's face slowly froze.

The pathetic scene she had pictured didn't exist. Forget liquid manure and dog bites—Willow and Leo were immaculate. Their clothes were perfectly clean, without a speck of dust, looking exactly as they had when they left that morning.

Vivienne's absolute confidence shattered. Her face darkened as all traces of smugness were violently replaced by shock and furious resentment. "Why are you perfectly fine?"

Leo caught on instantly. Remembering the struggles the mayor had mentioned, a mocking smirk touched his lips. "What, did you think everyone was going to get chased off like a stray dog like you did?"

He paused, deliberately dragging out his words, his smile deepening. "Why don't you tell us exactly what happened to you? Come on, entertain us."

Vivienne's face drained of color. Speechless, humiliated, and seething with anger, she demanded, "How do you know about that?"

In truth, Leo had no idea what had actually happened. But he loved watching her squirm in impotent rage, so he baited her. "I know a lot more than you think. Do you want me to list it all out for you?"

"You...!"
