Half an hour later, while Julian was in the shower, Vivienne lay in bed and unlocked his phone, opening the camera app.
She angled the lens toward the gift sitting on the nightstand, intentionally ensuring the edge of her own clothing was visible in the frame. The fabric was conspicuously rumpled, practically screaming the implications of what had just happened.
After snapping the photo, she opened Julian's social media feed, posted the picture to his timeline, and headed to the bathroom, deeply satisfied.
The post caused an immediate stir. It was rare enough for Julian to post anything personal at all, let alone something this suggestive.
Seth Sterling was the first to comment: [Look at you, Julian! But as a guy who's been around the block, let me give you some advice: pace yourself, don't overdo it.]
Lucas Lane simply left a silent "Like" on the post.
Hugo Harrington, upon scrolling past it, remained completely impassive and kept scrolling without reacting.
When Julian stepped out of the bathroom, he was momentarily taken aback by the sheer volume of notifications lighting up his screen. Tapping into the app, he discovered the photo Vivienne had posted. His brow immediately furrowed.
He was a private man. He rarely shared snippets of his personal life online, especially not something this overtly intimate. He found her actions incredibly distasteful.
As Vivienne emerged from the bathroom, she spotted Julian holding his phone, a dark look crossing his face. A spike of panic hit her.
She had posted the photo for two reasons: to test Julian's boundaries, and to provoke Willow.
