Tonight Her Love Ended novel Chapter 195

Nova figured since he was having dinner with the Pearce family today and celebrating Yvette's success later, he definitely wouldn't be coming home.

The relinquishment of parental rights agreement resting in the drawer of her bedroom at Clearwater Manor would have to wait.

That evening, Nova went to visit Lawrence Clarke, who still hadn't woken up.

She then checked on her brother, Ian, before rushing over to the Regent's Spire.

Even by this time, Tristan had given her absolutely no response.

Just as she was about to enter the private dining area, Nova immediately spotted Kieran, freshly released from police custody, laughing and chatting with Yvette as they headed toward their own private room.

Kieran spotted Nova immediately as well.

Nova had planned to completely ignore them, but to her surprise, Kieran turned around and marched straight toward her.

He stopped right in front of her, blocking her path. "So?"

Nova frowned at the utterly contextless question. "So what?"

Kieran sneered. "So what exactly did you think you could do to me? Spending a few days in lockup was nothing but a PR move for the internet and the company's stock price. You didn't actually think that someone like you, or the brat you were carrying, could damage my long-standing friendship with Tristan, did you?"

Nova's expression instantly turned ice-cold.

Yvette hurried over and grabbed Kieran's arm. "Forget it, don't lower yourself to her level."

Nova let out a harsh laugh.

As if she was the one starting trouble.

Kieran had just gotten out, and his family blamed him, slashing his company shares in half. He fully intended to pin that debt on Nova's head.

"A useless woman like you, who relies on underhanded tricks to climb the ladder, won't get far. Your baby died early, and honestly, it's for the best. With a mother like you, that kid would never have been able to hold their head up in society!"
