Tonight Her Love Ended novel Chapter 276

Nova looked at the document as Samuel read the clause aloud: "'Be available on call, do not intentionally avoid contact, cooperate with Tristan Forrester to maintain the facade of a marital relationship when necessary, and install a GPS tracker on your phone so Tristan Forrester can locate and contact you at any time'?"

"I can understand the first part, but what's the deal with the GPS tracker?" Samuel frowned. "Given your line of work, some of your itinerary needs to stay confidential."

Mr. Stratford smiled. "This isn't about her professional itinerary. If you're willing, Nova, you can sign this agreement right now. These are his only demands, and they don't explicitly harm you. However, the consequences of breaching them are also outlined by your husband."

He pointed to another section, explaining, "It says here that he will pursue legal action against you. With this clause, if you violate any of these terms and he takes you to court, he will win, 100 percent."

Nova nodded. "Mr. Stratford, please draft a new Divorce Agreement for me. Keep everything identical except for the last line about installing a GPS tracker. Remove that. I'll negotiate with him and get his approval. Once he agrees, I'll need you to deliver the document for his signature so we can start the legal process."

Mr. Stratford nodded, drafted the new agreement on the spot, printed it out, and had Nova sign it.

Just then, Nova's phone rang.

"It's Tristan," Nova said, looking at Samuel.

Samuel made a gesture, indicating she should go handle her business while he and Mr. Stratford made their exit.

Nova nodded. Just as she answered the call, she saw Tristan standing outside.

She immediately hung up and walked out. "I'm right here."

Tristan looked over. Under the bright sunlight, Nova was wearing the black outfit he had picked out for her that morning, making her porcelain skin look even more flawless and radiant.

"Grandma wants us to head over," he said, extending a hand.

Nova paused for a second. As she reached out, she was hit by the strong scent of perfume radiating off him—it was Yvette's signature scent.

At a resort like this, with Yvette wearing practically nothing, they must have been incredibly close for her scent to rub off on him like that.

She abruptly pulled her hand back. Tristan, caught off guard, grabbed empty air. He raised his eyes, scrutinizing her.

Nova hesitated. "Do we have to hold hands right now?"

Tristan's expression was indifferent. "What do you think?"
