Chapter 108
Chapter 108
Yesterday, Tristan’s offhand comment unexpectedly jogged Brianna’s memory.

If it had happened at any other time, she probably wouldn’t have had a shot at catching real proof of Brandon’s affair..
But the timing and place of that incident were unusually clear. Everything just fell into place.
With a chance like this, if she still didn’t grab the evidence, she’d really be beyond saving.
Brianna felt frustrated with herself for being so slow. She realized she might’ve missed some key hints before.
She dialed her uncle’s number.
Her uncle was one of the big owners of the hotel where the last financing meeting took place.
Getting the surveillance footage wouldn’t be hard.
But the catch was, most places only kept their security footage for 30 days.
She just hoped it wasn’t too late.
Brianna didn’t mention Brandon and Darcy directly.
She just said something unexpected happened at the last financing meeting, and she wanted to check the security footage from that night.
Her uncle sorted it out quickly and told her to get in touch with the hotel manager.
Brianna asked Patsy to come along, and the two of them rushed to the hotel together.
When they found the manager, he immediately recognized Brianna.
With a friendly attitude, he led them to the surveillance room.
Looks like fate finally cut her a break.
The hotel’s security footage hadn’t been deleted.
To protect guests‘ privacy, there were no cameras inside the banquet hall.
The surveillance only covered the public areas.
After more than two hours of carefully reviewing the footage, they finally managed to reconstruct Brandon and Darcy’s movements as they left the banquet hall that night.
The footage showed Brandon leaving the banquet hall, clearly drunk.
He was staggering, needing someone to steady him just to stay on his feet

Brianna saved the surveillance videos of Brandon leaving both that night and the following morning onto her phone.
Brianna and Patsy said their goodbyes to the manager and headed out of the hotel.
On the way, Patsy noticed Brianna seemed unfazed, so she started joking around.
“Your Mr. Levy is really something. Drunk as a skunk and still managed to knock up that sly little fox. I should start calling him a sharpshooter,” Patsy teased.
Brianna didn’t seem bothered.
Brianna just smiled back and said, “What if it happened after he sobered up?”
As she said it, Brianna felt nothing but calm inside–her heart was as still as a quiet lake.
Patsy nodded along. “Yeah, you got a point.”
She suddenly stared, her eyes wide with shock.
“Hold on. What if that sly little fox isn’t even pregnant?”
Brandon and Darcy went to the hotel room a little after midnight, and Brandon came out alone at 7 AM the next morning.
If what Tristan said was true, and Brandon really drank the orange juice Darcy handed him.
Given how wasted Brandon was, it’s hard to believe anything could have happened in just those few hours.
A memory flashed through Brianna’s mind.
On Kendra’s birthday, when they came over and made a scene, Brianna had said, “Are you sure the baby in your belly is even his?” and Darcy’s expression instantly turned awkward.
‘Could there really be something fishy going on?‘ Brianna wondered.
As she kept quiet, Patsy went full Sherlock, analyzing the whole situation.
“Just look at it. Mr. Levy was totally out of it, and she still hauled him off to a hotel room. That’s a classic setup, taking advantage of the guy when he couldn’t even stand straight!” Patsy said.
Brianna smiled and gave Patsy a knowing look.
“Don’t forget, his driver was right there. If Brandon really didn’t want to go, would the driver have dared to help him over? I’m guessing they’ve probably had plenty of these awkward moments before,” Patsy said.
“So, what are you gonna do now?” Patsy asked.
“I’ll just wait for now. I don’t even know where Darcy is. What else can I do?” Brianna replied.

Patsy let out a tsk and frowned, obviously not agreeing with how Brianna was handling things.

“Wait for what? Wait until she pops out the baby? What, you think you can just put it back or something?” Patsy scoffed.
Brianna was worried about that, too, but with everything going on right now, she was totally swamped. There was just no way she could deal with anything else.
“His mom’s really set on this. She might not even let Darcy go through with the pregnancy,” Brianna said.
Patsy let out a couple of cold laughs. “Seriously, you’re way too naive.”
Patsy shook her head and kept going.
“What if she gives birth to a son?” she said.
Brianna paused for a moment, then said hesitantly, “Would his family really let something like that happen?”
Ever since Darcy showed up at the Levy family banquet, Gabrielle had never given her a single kind look.
“All that high–and–mighty talk from your mother–in–law? She only said it to keep up appearances for the Levy family. If you actually believed her, you’d be a real fool!” Patsy said.
It hit Brianna like a splash of ice water. suddenly, everything made sense, and she felt wide awake.
‘Yeah, if even my own dad won’t back me up, how could I ever expect anything from my mother–in–law?‘ Brianna thought.
She masked her sadness with a joke.
“You’re so clever. I’ve been around you since we were kids. How come I never got any of your smarts?” Patsy said.
She caught the hint of sadness in Brianna’s eyes and couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for her.
She tried to cheer her up. “Hey, everyone’s got their thing. I’m good at reading people and playing the social
one.” game, but you? You’re the artsy
Then, with a playful note of envy, she added, “Top–tier looks, crazy talent, and honestly, your luck isn’t half bad either.”
Brianna let out a wry laugh at herself.
Then she turned serious and asked what was really on her mind.
“If you were in my shoes, what would you
do?”
Patsy knew Brianna was asking how to handle Darcy.
“Stick with Brandon and use any means necessary to push him into pressuring Darcy to get rid of the baby,” Patsy said.

Brianna gave no clear answer, just staying silent.
Being on the same page as Brandon? She simply couldn’t do it.
Too much had happened. There was no way to turn back now.

But it made her realize one thing: she couldn’t afford to wait any longer. It was time to take action.
Back at the office, Brianna sat at her desk, but her mind kept wandering. She just couldn’t get her head in the
game.
After a while lost in thought, she picked up her phone and called Brandon.
He picked up right away.
“Hello?” Brandon answered.
“Blanca’s back.” Brianna said.
