Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 438

As Ethan left, he cast a long, lingering look at Mira. He couldn't shake the feeling that his youngest sister had become entirely unfathomable. The hardships outside the Mercer estate had sharpened her into someone formidable. It was for the best; he wouldn't have to worry about her survival.

Once alone, Mira dialed Owen.

"How is the internet finance project coming along?"

"Operating licenses are approved, and the team is locked in. We're just waiting to hit the launch button," Owen reported.

"Perfect. Thanks for the hard work. What about the firewall?"

"Construction has already started."

"Did Dominic West still refuse to help out?"

"He's swamped with his day job. I told you that before."

"It's just a shame," Mira sighed. "His hacking skills are unparalleled. Couldn't he just be an occasional consultant? We wouldn't need him full-time."

After all, she and Owen managed to juggle multiple executive roles flawlessly.

"You have his number. Why don't you ask him yourself?"

Unwilling to let it go, Mira called Dominic and explained how critical a robust financial firewall was. If a hacker breached an investment platform, the fallout would be catastrophic.

"Mira, I really can't take on any side projects. I wish you the best of luck, though," Dominic said apologetically.

Since he couldn't participate, he obviously wouldn't be getting a cut of the profits. Mira moved on to the next phase: building a client base.

"Boss, we have buyers!"

"Boss, ten percent of the quota is already sold!"

Mira didn't need to say another word; she knew it was a guaranteed success.

The moment her name went public, the Solflare executives practically tripped over themselves to invest. Having already profited massively from Mira's stock tips, they viewed her as a financial deity. They dumped their own money in and aggressively recruited their friends and families, clearing out a massive chunk of the available quotas.

As for the rest of the public? Numbers didn't lie. Once the funds proved stable and highly profitable, people would be begging to get in.

With the launch successfully handled, Mira closed her laptop and went back to her homework.
