“It’s those bullies!”

“Run! The bullies are coming!”

People scattered as soon as they saw Rickie and the others approaching-they looked like they’d seen a ghost.

That’s how notorious these guys were! They were the school’s most untouchable troublemakers.

Clara’s fan club was bad, but nothing compared to these guys.

Each of them was a feared school tyrant, a true menace. When it came to campus underworld power, Clara’s little group was a joke next to them.

Clara’s fans paled when they saw Rickie’s crew. Their courage melted, and they tried to reason, stammering, “This is between us and Margaret. It’s none of your business! We didn’t do anything to you!”

Rickie glared at them, sneering. “None of our business? Whatever concerns Margaret concerns us!”

Without another word, Rickie charged forward and kicked the guy at the front square in the chest, sending him sprawling.

“Y-you dare hit us?!”

“So what if I did? Got a problem with that?” Rickie barked, then yelled to his friends, “Boss said to beat them within an inch of their lives!”

The guys pounced. Chaos erupted instantly!

“Ah! It hurts!”

“Stop! Please stop!!”

“My face!”

“I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

This was no fight-it was a one-sided beatdown. Rickie’s crew were seasoned brawlers, and Clara’s fans didn’t stand a chance. Soon, they were all black and blue, begging for mercy.

“Scram! If we see you again, we’ll beat you up every time!”

Onlookers shuddered-those bullies were terrifying. But then, their jaws dropped.

The same bullies who’d just trashed the place marched over to Margaret, standing at attention like loyal underlings. “Boss, mission accomplished.”

Margaret nodded in approval. “Not bad.”

Rickie immediately fawned. “All thanks to your great leadership, boss! You’re awesome!”

Everyone around gaped.

The cool, stunning Margaret is the boss of those monsters?

Oh my god. That’s such a badass vibe-I’m obsessed!

With the fans gone, only Margaret, her classmates, and Michelle still kneeling-were left at the table.

Clara’s heart raced with panic. How? Why are these rich brats listening to Margaret?

“Move it! Get outta here!” Rickie and the others started clearing the table, acting like they’d done this a hundred times.

“This is our seat! You’re just stealing it!” someone protested.

“Got a problem?” Rickie snapped.

The protester froze, thinking of the battered fans. They clamped their mouths shut and left.

“Michelle, let’s go. We don’t need this meal-let’s give them the table.” Clara had the sense to stand up on her own. Being thrown out would be even more humiliating.

Michelle’s face was stiff with tears. “Clara… I can’t stand up…”

Clara’s expression tightened. “Michelle, no one’s holding you down. If you don’t wanna leave, I’ll go first. I have homework to do later.”

She just wanted to escape. A terrible premonition gnawed at her if she stayed, something even more embarrassing would happen.

Clara turned to run, abandoning Michelle.

But then, Margaret spoke-slowly, her tone oozing with devilish charm, like a demon tempting its prey. “Clara, Michelle looks so pitiful. Won’t you stay with her?”,

No!!! Clara’s mind screamed.

Panic flooded her. She wanted to run without caring about her image-yet her legs wouldn’t move.

It felt like someone was shoving her shoulders down, forcing her knees to bend, Just like Michelle, she dropped to her knees in front of everyone.
