Under the Veil I Rule (Amara) novel Chapter 709

Everything was clear now—the person who saved Finnian that day had been Amara!

Because it all happened at the Everly Estate, Tina, who was just an ordinary servant there, actually knew the truth. But for some reason, Finnian mistakenly believed that it was Liliana who had saved him...

As Hogan thought it over, a chill ran down his spine. If Tina hadn’t come forward yesterday to reveal the truth, no one would have ever known that the baby Amara was carrying was actually Finnian’s. Finnian would have remained deceived by that scheming woman, Liliana, especially since he was about to marry her...

And Finnian, who loved Amara so deeply, had fathered a child with her—yet he was completely unaware...

Hogan’s face twisted, his demeanor growing so dark and ominous that it was almost frightening. This was a staggering conspiracy! Liliana, you really are a cunning woman—well played!

He glanced at his watch, and his eyes widened in alarm. Oh no, the wedding reception is about to start!

He suddenly sprang up from the sofa and charged toward the door.

“Hey, where are you going?” Celeste stepped in front of him. “I haven’t finished talking to you yet! Back then, it was all Liliana’s scheme. But she pinned the blame on me, because she was holding something over my head—or more accurately, over my parents...”

She truly wanted to confide in Hogan; life abroad had been extremely tough for her lately, and she missed him a lot. She just wanted a chance to really talk things through with him.

But the wedding reception was about to begin, and Hogan had no time for this. He brushed past her, saying, “We can talk about this later. I have something urgent I need to do right now.”

“What is it?”

She instructed the waitstaff to open the doors. Two servers pulled them open simultaneously, revealing the scene inside.

Finnian and Liliana walked in together, facing nearly a hundred tables of guests in the banquet hall. Finnian, though sharply dressed, wore an expression of cold indifference—he looked more like a man attending a funeral than his own wedding.

Liliana kept an elegant smile on her face, taking Finnian’s arm and leaning in closer to him.

Emma, Mr. Kevin Everly, and several members of the Everly family followed behind. They were all preparing to make the rounds and toast the guests, as was custom at Wye family weddings.

Emma was dressed in a soft lavender qipao, looking regal and graceful as ever. Raising her glass, she said warmly, “Today is Finnian and Liliana’s wedding reception—a truly joyous occasion. Thank you all for coming to celebrate with us...”
