When Jasmine was older, Charlene planned to give her every cent and every asset Thorne had ever provided. With that kind of security, no matter what life threw at her, Jasmine would always have options and the strength to face it.
A few days later, Charlene received a call from Thorne's lawyer. She wasn't sure if Thorne was back in the country yet, but the lawyer informed her that the 30-billion-dollar agreement was drafted and he wanted to send it over for her review.
Given the astronomical sum, Charlene expected the agreement to be filled with complicated clauses and conditions. She would have understood if he'd made a few extra demands.
But the document he sent over was surprisingly brief. Thorne had only one condition: that she refrain from filing for divorce for a period of six months. This clause was a precaution in case other matters continued to delay the process on his end.
After reviewing the terms and finding no issues, Charlene signed it without hesitation. Shortly after, the promised funds began arriving in her account in installments.
The following afternoon, as she was heading into The Henderson Group for a meeting, she saw Thorne outside, deep in conversation with someone. He spotted her and Mr. Windsor's party, gave a polite, professional nod to the group, and immediately returned to his discussion. So, he was back.
That evening, when Jasmine called to chat, Charlene asked casually, "When did your dad get back?"
"Today! He called me right after he got home this afternoon," Jasmine said brightly, then asked, "Why, Mommy?"
"Nothing."
After hanging up with Jasmine, Charlene sent Thorne a text: [My schedule is open for the foreseeable future.]

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
