The moment they saw her, they dove into the water and swam toward her.

She waited until they got close, then took them out with one slash each.

She stripped their clothes, dismantled their bodies, and stashed the chests in her backpack.

This time, the tokens were automatically awarded on kill–no need to pick them up.

There were 87,642 players on the server. On the leaderboard, Andrea had 2 tokens, ranking 323rd.

She kept moving, looking for a larger spot.

After picking up three more tokens, she finally found a suitable shoal with dense vegetation and flat ground.

She kept an eye on her surroundings while setting the traps.

If anyone showed up, she’d retreat to her island.

Earlier, while checking the rankings, she’d glanced at the chat channel.

A lot of players were running into a masked group—they were stealing kills and killing players. Probably the same gang Dominic had warned her about, the one led by Marlon.

After placing all five traps, Andrea took out the Broken Camp Token she’d gotten from the monster that had taken Bubb bow.

She’d read its description carefully. It could summon horn beasts three times a day, but broken, it was useless.

She stood by the traps, holding the token in one hand and her long knife in the other, ready for anything.

The first monster appeared, dazed. She checked instantly–infected. One kick sent it tumbling into the trap.

Watching it thrash and rage inside, she felt a little relieved.

Her plan was working.

She kept summoning. One monster per minute, straight into the traps.

When they were full, she’d blow them up with bombs, and if anyone came, she’d light the bombs early, kill as many as possible.

Once she got the hang of it, she was trapping one monster every minute.

She filled the first trap, then summoned two uninfected monsters.

Afraid they’d run off and tip off others, she made them squat in a corner.

They actually obeyed, heads down, too scared to look up.

Meanwhile, on the competition leaderboard: Marlon was first with 67 tokens, Cyril Galloway second with 04. Gwen thirst with 89. Denice sixth with 32.

Andrea still had 4 tokens, ranked 1,304th.
