When The Moon Hides Her Crown (Seraphina) by Pooja novel Chapter 300

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

A thrill surged through Ryker's veins as he tasted Seraphina's blood, the sharp, intoxicating sensation setting his senses alight. His long years of yearning and insatiable desire flared, and he reluctantly pulled his fangs from her flesh, his grip tightening around her limp, unconscious form.

The mark between her brows had vanished, and now, she was no more than a werewolf. Just Seraphina.

"Only mine," he murmured, his lips curling into an obsessive smile as he licked the blood from his lips. He gazed down at her broken, vulnerable state, the withered flower he had always longed to possess now cradled in his arms. "I love you, Seraphina," he whispered, his voice dark with possessiveness. Leaning down, he pressed his lips to hers in a hungry kiss before lifting her in his arms and carrying her upstairs to the bedroom, where the healers were already waiting.

"Check on her," he commanded coldly. "I want her to wake up immediately."

The healers scrambled into action, two tending to the wound on her neck, while another hesitated before speaking, his voice cautious. "Marking without mating is incredibly dangerous, Alpha King. It’s already a miracle she’s still alive."

Ryker’s eyes flickered with impatience, but his resolve was unwavering. He was already aware of the risks; he just didn’t care. The moment he dragged her into the palace, all he wanted was to her to fuck her right then and there on that cold floor. Still he held back. Marking her was his first priority. He had waited centuries for this moment. He approached her unconscious form, brushing a thumb over her cheek with a smirk. "Then it’s time to mate, my little flower." His lips parted in a silent growl as he drank in the sight of her; beautiful, delicate, and entirely his.

The moment he had dreamed of for nine hundred years was finally here. "Everyone out!" he barked, his voice final and commanding.

The healers quickly vacated the room, as Ryker had already stripped out of his shirt but Percy lingered, stepping closer to Ryker with a hesitant expression.

"Alpha," Percy said softly, "In the kingdom, the Alpha King first holds a wedding and presents his Luna Queen to the realm before the mating and marking ceremony. Without the wedding, she will never be officially recognized as your Luna."

Ryker’s expression twisted into a bitter scowl. "Who created that fucked-up rule?"

"It has been a tradition for centuries," Percy replied carefully, "The other Alphas follow it, though none would dare speak against you. If things are done out of order, it is just that she will never be seen as your true Luna Queen."

Ryker's jaw tightened in frustration. For nine hundred years, he had focused solely on increasing his power and hunting for the Blood Petal. He had paid little attention to the kingdom’s rules, rituals, or traditions. But now, with Seraphina in his grasp, he wanted the entire world to know that she was his.

In order to break her completely, to tear away any shred of hope she had left for a future outside of his grasp, he needed to mark her not only in body but also in society. The mark of the Luna Queen. His Luna Queen.

With a growl of frustration, Ryker pulled his hand back, his gaze cold. "Prepare for the wedding."

Percy bowed, understanding his King’s command. "Understood."

Ryker bent down to kiss Seraphina once more, his lips fierce and wild against hers. "In just a few hours, you will be mine completely, my little flower."

Turning sharply, he strode out of the room, a raging storm of desire and lust building within him. The wait would be excruciating, but he would make her his. All of her. Forever.

When Seraphina woke up it was already the sun was brightly shining in the sky. It was already noon the next day. Due to the blood loss she had been out for that long. The maids came and went delivering food and over the hours it had turned cold but she sat by the window the whole time, her gaze fixed on the lush greenery outside. The wind of the Werewolf Realm had changed and she realized that everyone had known she was marked.

The tag of Luna Queen that she had run from almost all of her life had finally been pinned to her name.

Two she-wolves entered the room, their arms laden with stuff.

“Luna Queen,” they knelt before her, their heads lowered in respect. “Please, allow us to help you get dressed.”

Seraphina’s eyes shifted to the black gown, sandals, jewelry, and makeup in their hands. “What is this for?” she asked, her voice hollow.
