THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
Seeing Grace so happy, Seraphina couldn’t help but remember the day Grace had woken up after a month in the hospital. She had barely survived, and when her eyes finally opened, the first thing she felt was overwhelming sorrow upon hearing about Alpha Gideon’s death. It had been a heavy blow, but it was Alpha Jude, now fully sane, who had been there for her. His presence, his care, had become the medicine she needed to heal. Slowly, Grace had begun to let go of the pain, accepting the harsh reality, and slowly found her way back to living again.
The room was filled with laughter, music, and the sound of clinking glasses as the two women reveled in the freedom of the moment.
Later that night, Jude passed by their room and was blown away by the girls’ wild laughter behind the closed door. Quietly, he retreated without being seen.
As the night wore on, their carefree spirits only grew. The room was soon filled with an air of mischief as Lily and Grace turned their attention to Seraphina, urging her to join in their improvised game of truth and dare. Their tipsy antics took over, and the atmosphere was electric with anticipation and excitement. Every challenge was met with laughter, every dare more outrageous than the last, as they became more uninhibited in the spirit of celebration.
The drinks kept flowing, and soon, the outrageous drink challenge began. Grace pulled out random bottles from the liquor cabinet, mixing strange concoctions of tequila.
They danced, sang and continued their party.
“Seraphina, here’s your wedding gift!” Grace handed over a neatly wrapped box with a wicked grin.
Seraphina blinked, a little foggy from the alcohol. “Isn’t it a bit early for a wedding gift?”
Lily and Grace exchanged mischievous smiles, both of them clearly drunk. “Just try it on,” they urged, practically pushing her toward the bathroom.
A few moments later, Seraphina emerged, her face flushed. “You guys…” She was speechless.
It was a black lacy thong set.
“Wow!” Lily gasped, her eyes wide. “You look amazing, Sera!”
“Amazing?” Seraphina frowned as she stared at herself in the mirror, embarrassed. “I feel…exposed!”
Grace grinned wickedly. “Exposed and ready for your first night.”
Seraphina’s cheeks turned crimson. “You…”
Lily jumped at her from one side and Grace from the other. “Baby, let’s make lots of babies tonight, okay?” Grace tried to mimic Ronan’s teasing tone, and they all burst into laughter.
Seraphina laughed so hard that she nearly lost her balance as they continued to mimic Ronan’s voice, each one taking turns.
“Let’s take pictures!” Lily pulled out her phone but quickly realized it was dead. Without missing a beat, she grabbed Seraphina’s phone and began snapping endless selfies.
They laughed and clicked more photos, each one more ridiculous than the last, until they were all exhausted.
