“My Queen,” Seth Darven called teasingly as Seraphina stood in front of her parents‘ graves.

Seraphina narrowed her eyes at her cousin. “Can you please stop it already?”

Seth chuckled. “Sorry.”

“Thank you for taking over Dad’s pack, Seth,” Seraphina said, her tone soft but sincere. “Now you’ve got two packs to handle. If you need any help, please let me know.”

“Of course,” Seth replied with a wink. “I’ll come bother you when I need to.”

Seraphina smiled, her gaze shifting back to the graves of her parents.

“Is it okay to leave the palace a day before the wedding?” Seth asked, following her gaze to the

graves.

“I just missed Mom and Dad,” Seraphina murmured. “I wanted to see them once more before I became a bride.”

Seth nodded in silence, his eyes lingering on his cousin.

“Seriously, Seraphina, I admire your boldness not just for entering the boys‘ academy, but for challenging the Alpha King and claiming the throne,” Seth said, smiling warmly. “I still remember when we were kids, you said you’d become queen. And now, here you are. I’m so thrilled to be the cousin of the Alpha Queen, and…” He paused and flashed the wedding invitation. “And brother–in–law of the Lycan King as well.”

“Ronan sent you the invitation?” Seraphina blinked in surprise.

“I was shocked too,” Seth exclaimed. “Yesterday, the Lycan King’s Beta, Mace, came over with this invitation. Mom and Dad were both stunned and pleased by the respect the Lycan King

showed us.”

Seraphina’s heart fluttered as she touched the wedding invitation with a smile. Now, with only her aunt and their family left, Ronan had shown nothing but respect and kindness to her family and everyone connected to her.

In the past two months, she’d come to know Ronan in the ways she had always wanted. The man behind the academy uniform was so different, thoughtful, not just possessive. Every memory they had made together lured Seraphina into creating new dreams. She had once been the girl who only dreamed of the throne. Now, she was just a day away from making the Lycan King hers.

“Goddess, why is the dress completely ruined?!” Lily rushed to inspect it, her voice filled with panic. “Seraphina, your wedding is tomorrow! What are you going to do?”

Seraphina glanced at the clock. “Looks like I’ll have to buy a new dress.”

Lily’s eyes widened in shock. “That shop is hours away and it’s in the human realm, Seraphina! How can you casually say you need a new gown? You loved this dress!”
