Logan turned to leave but suddenly stopped and called out to him. "Let me ask you something."

"What is it?" Hugo thought to himself: *If you're asking about Dr. Sutton's private life, my lips are sealed. I won't sell my soul for a free breakfast.*

Logan stared at him. "If I told you that Dr. Sutton is my wife, would you believe it?"

The breakfast bag slipped from Hugo's hands and hit the pavement with a loud smack.

"You don't believe me?" Logan pressed.

Hugo scrambled to pick the bag up and shoved it right back into Logan's chest. "Major, I can't eat this. I can't betray my conscience! Besides, Dr. Sutton is a lady, you... you can't just bully her like that!"
