Danielle clicked her tongue. "Wow. I've only been gone a few months, and you've lost your manners. Won't even help a lady with her luggage?"

Danielle looked him up and down. "Don't tell me you're still recovering?"

"I'm fully recovered. You don't need to concern yourself with it," Logan replied flatly.

The smile vanished from Danielle's face. "Are you still mad at me for leaving when you got hurt?"

"The past is the past. We broke up. I only came here because you said you had a lead on Zahir. What did you find overseas?"

Danielle's smile returned as she nudged the suitcase against his leg. "Carry my bag, and I'll tell you."

Logan hesitated for a second before finally taking the handle.

"Let's walk and talk," she said.
