Naomi also sensed that something was wrong.
"What's going on?"
Seeing Patricia's intimidating expression, the staff member, without betraying the guest's privacy, gave a subtle hint. "There's a man and a woman in this room. They checked in last night."
"This morning, I knocked on the door to ask if the guests needed their room cleaned, and they said no."
"It was a girl who answered."
After speaking, the staff member nodded at the two of them and quickly walked away.
Patricia was so angry she was grinding her teeth. "What the hell is Zebulon playing at?"
"He brings a girl to a hotel room and then messages you to come over?"
Without waiting to see Naomi's reaction, Patricia started pounding on the door.
"Zebulon! Get your ass out here and open this door!"
"You have the guts to bring a woman here but not the guts to open the door?"
"Open up! Or I swear I'll go live right now and ruin your reputation right here!"
Naomi finally processed the fact that Zebulon had brought a girl to a hotel and then asked her to come witness it.
Seeing Patricia looking murderous, she quickly stepped in to stop her.
"Patricia, we don't need to get this angry. Zebulon and I were never a couple. He probably texted me because he really had something for me. Just calm down."
Patricia looked at Naomi, impressed by her composure. "You're not angry?"
Zebulon was the person Naomi had loved for so many years.
Now, finding out he was in a hotel room with another woman... just the thought of it was suffocating for her, yet Naomi, the one directly involved, was so calm?
Naomi glanced at Patricia, not hiding the flicker of sadness in her eyes, but not forcing a smile either. "I knew this day would come sooner or later."
