Naomi hadn't thought much of it before, but now she felt quite guilty.
But she couldn't deny it was also interesting.
Not having to constantly worry that she might say the wrong thing and anger Zebulon or her family.
"Patricia!"
A familiar voice called from a distance. Naomi snapped out of her thoughts and looked up to see a group of guys, all at least six feet tall, walking towards them.
They exuded a youthful energy that made them a striking sight in the quiet lounge, drawing everyone's attention.
Naomi wasn't used to being the center of attention and quickly shrank into her seat, wishing she could dig a hole and crawl into it.
Patricia, however, was thrilled. She stood up and waved at them. "Hey! Over here!"
They changed direction and headed their way.
Some onlookers looked on with envy, murmuring about how nice it was to be young.
Others were itching to come over and ask for their numbers.
Still others wanted to join their group.
Naomi hadn't expected to find such an outgoing crowd in a quiet lounge. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, she picked up her phone and said, "Patricia, I'm going to the restroom!"
With that, she bolted, so fast that Patricia didn't even have time to call her back.
Luther had already sat down with his classmates.
The guy next to Luther had silver hair and was strikingly handsome, looking like a celebrity just sitting there.
He introduced himself as Nelson and immediately started asking about Naomi.
Patricia saw the undisguised admiration in his eyes.
