The problem was, Patricia couldn't remember spending that much money anywhere.

"You should call and ask,"

Naomi suggested quietly. "The bank can definitely track it."

"Right. I'll call them now."

Patricia scratched her head as she made the call.

Naomi went to the bathroom to shower, and by the time she came out, she looked fresh and revitalized.

Patricia was a little impressed.

"You don't look hungover at all."

Naomi smiled. "Probably because I didn't drink much. By the way, how did we get back last night?"

"Your boss drove us."

Naomi paused, her hand holding the hair dryer still. "My boss? You mean Lennon?"

Patricia nodded, then her expression soured as she remembered something. "Last night, your boss warned me not to hang out with Luther and his friends..."

Naomi glanced at her. "And you got angry?"

Patricia snorted. "I was furious last night. I even snapped at him."

When Naomi didn't say anything, Patricia looked at her and asked, "You think I shouldn't have?"

Naomi thought for a moment before replying, "If it were me, I'd probably be angry too if I suddenly heard something like that, so I get it."

Patricia caught the underlying meaning in Naomi's words.

"So, you trust his judgment?"

Naomi nodded.

"I'm heading to the studio now. Call me if you need anything."

Patricia really did need some time alone, so she nodded.

Patricia fell back onto her bed, staring at the ceiling. "My life is so hard..."

Naomi let out a chuckle. "Remember to eat breakfast."

With that, she left.

When she arrived at the studio, everyone was still there.

So she asked in the group chat what everyone wanted to eat. The responses were immediate, with some people practically calling her their savior.

Naomi then learned that everyone had pulled an all-nighter and were now exhausted and starving.

Naomi was curious. "Why didn't you guys order takeout?"
