As Sienna spoke, she gestured toward the screens.

Seconds later, every monitor in the mall flickered to life.

The image was unmistakable: Queen–mask on, silver hair loose–her arms wrapped around Elias‘ neck. Elias held her with one arm, her heels dangling from his other hand.

Behind them: wine glasses, a piano, fireworks exploding across the night sky.

“They look gorgeous together!”

“If that’s not a couple, I don’t know what is.”

“Mr. Cross made such a public declaration of love, and now this?”

“Men. Always the same. Fall for the next pretty face.”

“Walt–why is everyone assuming Nirvana’s the other woman? What if Queen’s the one interfering? What if Mr. Cross is just a jerk?”

Within minutes, the internet was on fire. Queen’s fans and Nirvana’s fans were at each other’s throats.

Stella looked at the photograph, her expression soft.

‘Whoever took this did a great job.”

‘So you admit it. You came between them.”

Sienna’s smile was sharp, victorious.

Perfect. Stella wouldn’t just be shut out of the Moore family–she’d be dumped by Elias‘ and torn apart online. Sienna finally had her revenge.

‘I admitted what, exactly?”

“Stella. If you were really Mr. Cross‘ girlfriend, why hasn’t he come forward to defend you? And you and Queen were supposed to be close. Aren’t you ashamed? Stealing your best friend’s man?”

“Keep running your mouth, and I’ll shut it for you.”

Sienna flinched. Jasper had always been gentle. She’d never heard that tone from him.

A helicopter thundered overhead. Everyone looked up.

There’d been a pileup on the expressway. Roads closed, traffic at a standstill. He’d abandoned his car and taken the helicopter instead.

“You’re not late. You’re exactly on time.”

Elias looked up at the screens. The photo of him and Stella–Queen–stared back.

He had to admit. It was a beautiful shot.

‘I’m Elias Cross. This is my girlfriend, Stella. She was my girlfriend before. She is now. And she’ll be the only one.”

‘Then explain the picture. Explain why you were that close to Queen.”

Sienna wasn’t backing down.

She didn’t believe Elias would paint himself as the villain for Stella’s sake. And even if he did–Queen had fans everywhere. They’d destroy Stella.

Stella’s lips curved into a slow smile. “What if I told you… I am Queen?”

Gasps rippled through the crowd.
