Chapter 157 Warm Reunions and Classroom Surprises
“Dad,” Stella called softly.
Jasper patted his daughter’s shoulder gently. “It’s okay now. I promised you I wouldn’t break my word.”
“Mr. Moore,” Frederick and Kenneth greeted him.
Jasper’s eyes grew slightly red. He patted their shoulders affectionately, then opened his arms and pulled all three of them into a hug. Tears slipped down his cheeks–life was never truly perfect.
“I’m fine, don’t worry,” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
Cody watched the scene, a grown man nearly forty, wiping away his own tears. Mr. Moore has finally waited for this day.
Stella has accepted him as her father, and Frederick and Kenneth no longer hold resentment toward him.
“Elias, thank you,” Jasper said sincerely.
Stella brushed her fingers gently over Elias‘ face, her heart aching at the dark circles under his eyes. He’d clearly pulled an all–nighter..
Even exhausted, Elias smiled softly, caressing her cheek. “I always keep my promises to you.”
With that, they hugged tightly.
“Stella, stay with your dad first,” Elias said.
“Aren’t you staying for dinner?” she asked.
“Today’s about you and your dad reuniting. You must have a lot to talk about,” he replied.
“Then go home and rest. Don’t go to work today,” Stella insisted.
Elias kissed her forehead gently. “Yes, ma’am.”
After he left, Frederick and Kenneth didn’t linger either. They took their leave quietly.
Only Stella and Jasper remained at the dining table.
“Dad, I made you beef pasta. Try it,” Stella said, placing a plate in front of him.
Warmth filled Jasper’s heart. He smiled warmly, his eyes doting. “It’s delicious, my precious daughter. Thank you for your hard work.”
Stella’s pale face lit up with a happy smile, her heart feeling warm all over.
“Do you like your room?” Jasper asked.
She nodded. “It’s beautifully decorated. I love it.”

“Miss Shaw, your room was designed and decorated personally by Mr. Moore,” Lily said. “The bed, dressin table–all the solid wood furniture was handmade by him. He even carved little stars on them!”
Stella froze for a second. She hadn’t noticed before–she’d been too distracted last night.
“Lily, pass the word,” Jasper said. “From now on, the young lady is in charge of the house. If our opinions differ, hers takes precedence.”
“I understand, Mr. Moore,” Lily replied.
Jasper served food for Stella, his smile kind and his voice gentle. “Stefla, this is your home. No need to be formal.”
“Okay.” She nodded.
The father and daughter enjoyed a warm breakfast together.
“Dad, are you going to work later?” Stella asked, noticing Cody carrying a stack of documents.
“I—”
“You didn’t sleep all night, and your health isn’t good. You should rest. Working overtime won’t help you recover,” she interrupted.
Jasper paused, then smiled. “Alright, I’ll listen to my daughter.”
When he returned to his room, he looked at the wedding photo on the bed and smiled softly. “Nicole, don’t worry. I’ll spoil our daughter twice as much from now on.”
At Azure Peak University, Stella needed to make up for the classes she’d missed during her absence.
Three back–to–back classes in the afternoon left her tired.
“Miss Shaw, two students are fighting!” a student rushed to tell her.
Stella followed the student to the next classroom. “Stop!”
Just as she reached out to pull them apart, the fighting students suddenly presented her with two bouquets
of flowers.

Pop! Pop! Pop!
Confetti exploded across the classroom. The students gathered around her and began to sing.
Stella blinked in surprise, a warm feeling spreading through her chest.
The song “Boundless Sky” brought tears to her eyes.
“Miss Shaw, we all love you!” one student shouted.
“Miss Shaw, don’t pay attention to the keyboard warriors. You’re the best teacher ever. You did nothing

wrong–neither did your parents.”
“You’re my idol! I want to be as good as you in math.
“Miss Shaw, you’re not alone! After we finish studying, we go online to correct those keyboard warrior They’re the ones in the wrong.”
Stella never expected such warmth from students she didn’t interact with much.
She smiled gratefully. “Thank you all.”
“We don’t accept verbal thanks!” a student teased. “We prefer something real.”
