Chapter 178 Princess Stella’s Starry Birthday
Nolan, a master negotiator, had no words to refute her.
Seraphina took a deep breath, cupped his face, and kissed him.
Nolan froze for just a second. He didn’t push her away, letting her kiss him deeply.
“Baby boy, are you done with me?” she whispered.
The words hit Nolan like a thunderclap. He held her head and kissed her back, his lips claiming hers fiercely.
The air in the study grew hotter by the second.
He picked her up and carried her toward the bedroom.
Where he couldn’t see, Seraphina smiled triumphantly.
I will be Mrs. Lane, no matter what. Stella, Elias–I’ll make you pay for everything.
He tossed her onto the bed, and Seraphina knew she’d won the bet.
‘Baby boy,” she murmured.
Nolan’s last line of defense crumbled.
He knelt over her, kissing her hand reverently. “I’ve missed you so much.”
You don’t hate me anymore,” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
His kisses grew deeper and more urgent…
I don’t hate you. I love you,” she said.
Nolan lost all control at her words.
Clothes fell to the floor, and the quiet room filled only with their ragged breaths….
The room was steeped in intimacy.
Seraphina passed out in the end.
Nolan stood by the bed, staring down at her.
I’ve gotten everything I wanted, so why doesmy heart feel so empty? Why is there no joy at all?
The dock.
Stella stood beside a luxury yacht, its hull emblazoned with “Princess Stella“. A smile tugged at her lips as

she turned to look at Jasper.
“I got this for you for your birthday,” Jasper said, his voice soft. “Do you like it?”
“I love it,” Stella replied.
They boarded the yacht together.
As night fell, Stella lay on the deck, staring up at the stars.
Suddenly, someone lay down beside her. She glanced over, her eyes lighting up with surprise.
‘Elias? I thought you weren’t coming until tomorrow,” she said.
‘I couldn’t wait. I needed to see you,” he replied.
They lay there hand in hand, watching the stars together.
Stella, see that star?” Elias said.
She sat up, following his gesture. “Which one?”
This one,” he said, pulling out a certificate and handing it to her.
Stella froze for a second before opening it–he’d bought her a star.
Elias took her hand, and they looked at the star through a telescope.
Thank you, Elias,” Stella said softly.

The sea breeze blew gently. Elias wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his head on her shoulder. “Stella, everyone’s asleep. Can you thank me in a way that’s a little more… real?”
Stella glanced around. They were alone on the deck. She grabbed his tie, pulling him down to her level, and kissed him.
Elias held her close, deepening the kiss.
After a long while, she felt a vibration–his phone was ringing.
They pulled apart, and Elias cupped her face. “Happy birthday, Stella.”
Suddenly, the yacht’s lights blazed to life. Stella turned, stunned.
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Stella…”
Her family–the Shaws, the Moores, the Crosses–and her friends Iris, Tess, even Simon, all walked toward her, pushing a castle–shaped cake and singing.
Stella had never had a birthday party before. Seeing their sincere smiles, her heart melted with warmth. “Happy birthday, my girl. May you be happy forever,” Jasper said, hugging her, his eyes red with emotion.
