Tess‘ heart skipped a beat. She shifted awkwardly on the couch and tried to hand the potato chips back.
Frederick pulled her right into his arms and held her tight.
“Stella, let me introduce you. This is my girlfriend.”
Tess dared not look up at Stella.
“Hi, Future Mrs. Shaw.”
Tess froze for a second. She stared at Stella in shock. “Boss, you’re okay with this?”
Stella raised an eyebrow. “Why would
I be?”
“Ahh-” Tess threw her arms around Stella and lifted her up, spinning her in a circle.
Elias frowned. Why is anyone hugging my wife?
“Boss, don’t worry. I’ll spoil you, spoil you, and spoil you some more!”
“Shouldn’t you be spoiling me?” Frederick said, sounding jealous.
“You spoil me, and I’ll spoil Stella.”
Frederick smiled helplessly. “Fine. Whatever you say.”
“Tell your girlfriend to put Stella down,” Elias said.
“Babe, Mr. Cross is jealous. Let go quick.”
Tess didn’t dare look at the jealous Elias.
“Boss, go calm him down. We’re leaving.”
Frederick frowned. “Why should Stella calm him down?”
“No wonder you were single for so long. A kiss fixes everything.”
“Then you calm me down too.”
Tess was speechless.
“What? No?“.

Tess shoved him into the car, cut off his breath, and kissed him fiercely.
Elias spun Stella around in his arms several times.
“Tess is a girl. Are you really jealous?”
“Yes.”
“Let me taste you–see if you’re sour.”
Stella kissed him softly, chasing away the jealousy, leaving only sweetness between them.
The day came for Stella to lecture at Azure Peak University.
She froze the second she walked in. Is this a gathering of Azure Peak’s elites?
Elias and her brothers were all there.
She smiled, then met a cold, indifferent gaze.
It was him.
Sean Corbin!
The new head of the Corbin clan, Shane’s older brother. He had actually shown up.
“Hello, everyone!”
“Hello, Miss Shaw!”
Stella waved and began class as usual.
The powerful men in the back row had already exchanged dozens of silent glares.
Students glanced back now and then–they were all too handsome.
Seeing even one man that stunning was rare, but a whole row of them?
“Any volunteers to solve this problem on the board?”
The front row all bowed their heads.
Stella smiled. “If no one raises their hand, I’ll call on someone.”

The students were surprised. Miss Shaw rarely called people to the board, only for attendance. What’s different today?
Stella looked right at Sean and curled her lips. “You, in the last row–black suit, slicked–brown hair.”
Sean frowned and looked up at her.
“Yes, you the one frowning.”
Everyone turned to stare at him.
“Sean, she’s calling you.” Shane nudged his shoulder gently.
Sean met Stella’s eyes and smiled faintly. “I don’t know how, Miss Shaw.”

“I can’t even read the problem.”
Shane was stunned. My genius brother, the praised heir of the Corbins, couldn’t solve it?
“Sean, just go write something random.”
“Are you crazy?”
“You really can’t? But you’re a genius.”
Sean was exasperated. “Since when do geniuses have to solve these twisted problems?”
His voice was icy. Shane fell silent.
“Stay after class. I’ll teach you how to read it.”
Sean saw her game and smiled calmly. “Alright.”
“Sean, smile a little. Don’t scare everyone.”
Sean looked at him and grinned, showing his white teeth.
“Please don’t smile. It’s creepy.”
“Quiet! Do you have any manners?” Tess snapped. The room went silent at once.
After Stella finished the lecture, she helped students in the front row with problems.
Once the class left, Stella and Tess exchanged a look and locked the doors.

“Mr. Sean Corbin, since you’re here, tell me–what do you want?”
Stella crossed her arms and stared at him coolly.

Elias, Frederick, Tess, Kenneth, and Leo all stood by her side, full of imposing presence.
Sean still sat in his seat, staring straight at her.
“Mr. Corbin, do you prefer looking up at people?”
Sean frowned and stood up at once.
At nearly six foot three, he radiated authority, but Stella’s side was just as formidable.

“Hey!” Shane tried to lighten the tense mood, but everyone just stared at him like he was an idiot.
“Haha, let’s just talk. No need for a fight, right?”
Tess stepped forward at once. “Talk? Is that how your family ‘talks‘-chasing people within an inch their lives?”
