Chapter 246 A Dangerous Legacy
She looked at Stella, who was surrounded by her loving family.
The crowd had all turned into her fans.
“Miss Shaw, when will your perfume restock? We all want some!”
Finished
“If you’re busy, it’s fine. Just make a few bottles and auction them here. We’ll pay anything.”
“Is your competition piece for sale? We’ll offer a fortune.”
Stella never expected another mask to fall from a simple duel.
Jasper told Cody to handle the crowd, and the family left together.
Yvonne met Sean’s cold gaze. “I won’t use dirty tricks, but others will. If you’ve dragged her into this mess, you better protect her.”
With that, she walked away.
“Sean, what was that about?”
Sean coughed violently.
Didour grandfather make a mistake? We never should have disturbed her.
“Sean, are you okay?” Worry filled Shane’s eyes.
Bright red blood stained Sean’s white handkerchief.
“Sean… you…”
Sean waved him off, a bitter smile on his lips. “I’m fine.”
“Let’s go back.”
“Give the gifts we prepared to the two uncles.”
“Got it.”
He wasn’t sure if Jasper and Mark would see him, but the damage was done.
Even if they refused to acknowledge the Corbins, he had to warn them to protect their family.
“Keep an eye on everyone else’s movements.”

Sean covered his chest and coughed again.
He looked at his incompetent brother and wondered who would protect him once he and Grandfather were gone.
“Stella, you were amazing! I was so nervous down there. What a twist! My girl won.”
Vincent beamed and patted her head affectionately.
“Master Molly! You disappeared for years and it was a huge loss for the industry. Now that you’re back, your scents will be the most coveted items among ladies.”
Amelia held Stella’s face, eyes shining with pride. “Honey, you’re incredible.”
Jax sighed and rubbed his temple. Looks like I’m the only useless one in the family, just here to balance the luck.
“Stella, that woman started perfumery at three. When did you learn?”
“Maybe eight or nine. I picked up a little, then got busy and stopped. I just mess around with it sometimes when I’m free.”
Tess stepped up with a smirk. “Then I wanted a contest prize, so she entered. Not only did she win–she became the top name in the industry.”
Tess was used to it, but everyone else was shocked and proud.
“Stella, promise me something,” Kenneth said.
“What is it?”
“When my kid’s born, you have to hold them first.”
“Why?”
“Isn’t there a saying that whoever holds the baby shapes who they become?”
Iris clung to Stella’s arm. “I agree!”
Stella thought for a second and nodded. “Okay.”
“Stella said yes! You two better get on it!”

Chapter 246 A Dangerous Legacy
Sylvie was already eager for grandchildren.
Everyone laughed, the scene warm and joyful.
One by one, the family left. Only Elias, Stella, and the Moore family remained.
Finished
Cody pushed the door open. “Mr. Moore, Mr. Sean Corbin left these for you and Mr. Mark Moore.”
Jasper frowned, unhappy with the trouble the Corbins had brought Stella.
“Open it.” Mark figured they had to face it now.
Inside were rare medicinal herbs, valuable Azure Peak City properties, and a letter.
“Is this supposed to make up for the danger my daughter’s in?”
Yvonne’s attack was mild. What if someone comes for Stella’s life next?
“Dad, read the letter.”
Jasper opened it, and Stella leaned in to read too.
“Uncle, what’s wrong?” Leo asked anxiously.
Jasper handed the letter around. After reading it, Leo sighed.
“So the Corbins let the most capable rule, regardless of gender. Grandma was supposed to lead the clan. But she was sick of the family’s violence and ran away.”
“She should’ve fought her way to the top instead.”
Stella never met her grandmother, but from what she knew, she would’ve rather dominated the Corbins than flee.
“Now Sean’s grandfather wants Grandma’s descendants to take charge. But Dad, Uncle… if we step in, won’t we just be doing the work for others?” Leo frowned.
He couldn’t help being suspicious. Their lives were good. Stella finally had peace. Why force her into a messy leadership role for no reason?
