“Ms. Shaw, may I ask you something?” A student raised his hand.
Stella smiled gently. “Of course.”
“Rumor says a research institute in Veyra offered you 10 billion dollars to join them. Why did you say no?”
She smiled softly and spoke calmly, “I love my country. I like money, but I earn it the right way. This land raised me and shaped me. I want to do what I can to build our home better. My power is small, so I work in my own field. But with talented students like you, together we can make this society brighter.”
The entire hall broke into applause.
“Ms. Shaw, you’re so gifted. You spent over a year on the cancer drug. Will you release new songs soon? Or hold a violin concert? Your fans have waited so long.”
The crowd watched eagerly.
Stella smiled, full of happiness. “Next, I’m going to have my wedding. I’m afraid my man might run away.”
“Honey, I will never leave you. I want everyone here to witness it.” Elias appeared with white tulips. The crowd went wild.
“Wow! They’re such a gorgeous couple!”
“They look perfect together!”
“They’re just like the main characters in a romance novel!”
“They’re both amazing at what they do, and they support each other. Their relationship is so enviable.”
“Oh my gosh, I can’t wait for their kids! With parents this good–looking, they’ll be stunning!”
Stella looked at him softly, her smile warm as sunlight.
At her greatest moment, he was the one she wanted to share it with.
Elias handed her the flowers, and they hugged. “Stella, I’m so proud of you.”
“Why are you back carly?”
“I couldn’t miss this.”
Elias‘ eyes softened, thinking of how hard she’d worked.
“Mr. Cross, are you intimidated by how amazing she is?”
“When’s the wedding?”

Chapter 272 A Family’s Greatest Pride
“Planning for kids?”
Stella glanced at Elias, and they smiled at each other.
Elias turned to the crowd, his voice deep and steady.
“I’m honored my wife is brilliant. She’s my pride. The wedding is ready–waiting only for my bride.
“As for children… we’ll let nature take its course.”
The reporters kept asking, but Elias gently stopped them.
“Today, my wife is the star.”
He stepped back, watching her only with love.
Stella answered questions from both the students and the reporters.
After the event, Elias guarded her as they left.
Back at the Moore Manor, the whole family waited at the door.
Everyone gave her flowers, nearly burying her in blooms.
Elias carried most of her things for her.
Vincent held her hands, teary. “You’ve made our family glorious.”
“Grandpa, don’t cry.”
“I’m just happy.”
Vincent wiped away his tears, his aged face breaking into a kind, warm smile.
“You’re amazing, Stella. My phone’s been ringing nonstop with congratulations all day. All my friends are
jealous of me.” Sylvie sounded delighted and thrilled.
Cheerful music filled the air, making the whole yard feel warm and festive.
“Stella, we’re adding a special dedicated page just for you in our family archives.” Leo looked immensely proud.
Instead of flowers, he gave her a card directly.
“The Shaw family already did that for you,” Kenneth boasted proudly.
He just couldn’t contain his pride, even if his friends teased him for showing off.
