Chapter 297 Wedding Fun
“Honey, try this. It’s delicious.”
“Mm, you too.”
They ate while watching the four kids perform street dance on stage.
“Darling, we skipped the host and kept it simple. Will Sylvie be upset?”
“It’s still the grand wedding she arranged. She won’t mind.”
Tess nodded slightly.
She looked around. The wedding was truly luxurious.
Above them was a ceiling covered in sparkling crystals.
Purple flowers filled the whole hall, like a sea of purple, with a soft fragrance in the air.
“Mommy, happy wedding.” Jason ran over and gave her his gift.
“Thank you, sweetie.”
Tess opened it. Inside was a drawing of the three of them and a piggy bank.
“You saved so much!”
“This is all I have. It’s all for you. Be happy, Mommy and Daddy.”
Tess stroked his head gently.
“Daddy, don’t be mean to Mommy. Or I’ll hit you.”
He clenched his little fist and stared seriously at Frederick.
“Same to you. Don’t make Mommy mad, or I’ll punish you too.”
“Deal.”
The father and son bumped fists.
‘Daddy, Mommy, I’m going to eat.”
‘Eat here.”
‘I need to sit with the others.”
Tess smiled proudly at how grown–up he was.
As soon as Jason sat down, he felt nervous when Jax looked at him.

He’d lost his allowance but still had savings. He’d tricked Jax and now used his money as a gift. He hoped Jax wouldn’t be angry.
“Jason, giving Mommy all your savings makes you such a sweet boy”
“Of course!”
He quickly served Jax food.
Miles peeled a whole plate of shrimp and added spicy sauce.
“Here you go, Jax. Eat more.”
“Good boy.”
Liam gave a chicken leg to Chloe, but she put it right onto Jax’s plate.
“For you, Jax.”
“Thank you, sweetie.”
Jax looked at Liam, who poured him a bowl of soup.
Jax was delighted.
Who says sitting with kids is bad? This treatment is amazing.
The kids even chose to sit with me. They must look up to me.
“Chloe.”
“Grandpa.”
Aaron wiped her mouth gently.
“What do you want? I’ll get it for you.”
“I want fish, but I’m scared of the bones.”
“Easy.”
Aaron glanced at Jax. “Jax, remove the bones.”
“Huh?”
“You can’t do it?”
“Jax can’t take out bones?” Chloe asked innocently.
“I can! Just wait!”

He couldn’t admit he couldn’t. The kids would think he was stupid.
“What do you all want?”
Miles raised his hand. “Crab, but I can’t peel it.”
“I want truffle mushroom soup,” Jason said. He was too short to reach.
“Liam?”
“I’ll get my own,” Liam said.
“You can’t reach some dishes.”
Aaron smiled. “Tell Jax. He’ll help.”
Jax fell silent.
“Grandpa, does love just disappear?”
Aaron gave him a look. “You’d let a car–old serve you? How embarrassing.”
Jax had no words.
He ended up removing bones, peeling shrimp, and cracking crabs nonstop.
Frederick and Tess changed clothes after eating and toasted the guests.
Vincent smiled happily the whole time.
He led the family to thank every table.
After the guests left, relatives danced in the hall.
Mark glanced at Leo, annoyed. “Aren’t you going to dance?”
Leo blinked, then stood and held out his hand. “Dad, may I have this dance?”
Mark rolled his eyes and pulled away. “Dance with your future wife. That’s real skill.”
“I don’t have one yet. Let’s practice.”
Mark fell silent.
Leo sat back and swirled his red wine.
Chloe ran over, out of breath. “Uncle Leo, can I dance with you?”
Leo looked surprised and smiled warmly.
He wiped the sweat from her forehead. “Why are you sweating?”
“I danced with Grandpa and all my brothers. Now it’s your turn.”
Finished.
