Chapter 30 The Concert Surprise
“See you at the concert.”
Silas turned and walked away.
Jasmine hurried after him.
“Silas, she’s so rude to you! With everyone watching too!”
Silas tugged at his tie irritably.

“Where do you think she got the money for school all–these years? Even studying abroad. Scholarships can’t cover everything. Do you think she stole donations from the convent?”
Silas froze for a second.
His family’s pride hadn’t been restored yet–and here was the perfect chance.
Jasmine smiled when she saw him smirk.
She knew it was a done deal.
Stella Shaw, so what if you are a genius?
Money talks here.
The day of Iris‘ concert arrived in the blink of an eye.
At Azure Peak Sports Center, Silas, Jasmine, and their friends were buzzing with excitement.
“Take a photo! I need to post this on social media!”
Jasmine held up her VIP ticket, grinning as she snapped pictures.
“Look, Miss Shaw!”
Someone pointed, and everyone turned to see Stella walking toward the venue.
“Miss Shaw!”
Stella paused, spotting Jasmine and silently cursing her bad luck.
“Miss Shaw, are you here for the concert too?” one of Silas‘ lackeys asked eagerly.
If his family asked, he’d say even a genius professor thought Iris‘ concert was worth attending.
Jasmine saw her chance and sneered, “Miss Shaw, so you turned us down just to come work a side job?”
Everyone stared at the staff pass around Stella’s neck.

“Miss Shaw, next time there’s a gig like this, can you bring me? Earn money and watch the concert at the same time!” the lackey said, scratching his head with a laugh.
Even though Silas hated Stella, she hadn’t done anything wrong–and she was gorgeous.
“Nirvana!”
Stella smiled when she heard the voice. “You guys have fun. Head back to school early. I’ve got work to do.”
She walked straight toward a blonde woman who’d called her name, and they hugged warmly.
Silas and the others gaped.
“Silas, did I hear that right? She called Stella ‘Nirvana‘?” Jasmine asked, confused.
“Is it the Nirvana we’re thinking of?”
Silas scoffed, “Impossible. She struggled just to get scholarships for school and study abroad. She could never afford to get into the arts. She’s just here working a part–time job.”
Jasmine laughed mockingly. “Nirvana must be Stella’s idol. Since she can’t be a star like her, she uses the same stage name to live out her fantasy. Pathetic.”
“I thought Miss Shaw was above vanity when she turned down your ticket, Silas. Guess I was wrong,” one of Jasmine’s friends said, sneering.
“Silas, let’s go inside,” Jasmine said, plotting.
She’d make sure to drag Stella out drinking tonight.
She’d expose her for being a drunkard with a bad reputation, get her fired from the university, and cut off her income. Then Stella couldn’t sue her dad anymore.
And if she spread rumors about Stella stealing convent donations to buy her mom’s grave? Stella would definitely lose her job.
She’d beg them to drop the lawsuit in no time.
Silas seethed.
Why did Stella act like he was invisible every time they met?
Stella followed Amy Cruz to a VIP box.
“Nirvana! Long time no see!”
“Long time no see. How’ve you been?”
Amy flipped her long blonde curls over her shoulder. “I heard you’re staying in Azure Peak City for good now. I’m so happy! Next time we meet, I won’t have to hike up a mountain to see you.”
Stella laughed, embarrassed.

“I’m here to prep for Lucas‘ world music festival. Nirvana–let’s collaborate! All the fans are begging to see you and Lucas perform together.”
Lucas Sutton had retired years ago. But meeting Nirvana reignited his passion–their musical chemistry was undeniable.
“He chose Azure Peak City as the venue just for you.”
“Deal,” Stella said.
Amy’s eyes lit up. “I’ll call him right now!”
She rushed out, thrilled.
Stella smiled softly.
She glanced up and saw Elias in the VIP box across from hers.
He was staring at her intently, and Stella thought back to their fight in White Pit Village.
She studied him for the first time.
He was over six feet tall, broad–shouldered and muscular. She’d seen how strong he was when they fought side by side.
But what stood out most was his stunning face–sharp jawline, perfect features, like a sculpture crafted by the gods.
“Elias, what are you looking at?”
Leo patted Elias‘ shoulder and followed his gaze. He froze.
