Chapter 358 Happy Gathering
“Dad, I’m sorry,” Leo said.
“Forget it. Let’s talk about happier things,” Mark replied.
Leo secretly regretted not having kids to help carry the family business.
“Elias, tell us about Stella’s dream,” Mark changed the subject.
Everyone turned to Elias.
“It sounded unrealistic at first. But through hard work, it changed many lives,” Elias said.
He raised his glass. “We’re grateful for all your help over the years. Cheers to everyone.”
“We’re family. It’s only right,” Mark said.
Bruce raised his glass firmly. “Family sticks together. From now on, the Shaw, Cross, Moore, Monroe, and Corbin families will support each other-always.”
Kenneth lifted his glass too. “Cheers.”
Their bright laughter mixed with the sound of waves, warm and peaceful.
“Stella, you know what? Every time I perform, fans ask me to say thank you,” Iris said, swirling her wine. She stood on the sofa, grinning. “I was so proud. My best friend is amazing.”
“Be careful,” Stella warned, holding her arm.
“The best things in my life; being your friend, marrying my husband, and having my son.”
Sylvie pretended to frown. “And what about having me as your husband’s mom?”
”
“Sylvie, you’re the nicest one,” Tess said, holding her arm and leaning against her.
“Hey, that was my line!” Iris hurried to hold her other hand. She was a little drunk and hiccuped shyly, her cheeks pink as an apple.
“I didn’t steal it. Everyone in Azure Peak knows it’s true,” Tess said.
Stella covered her mouth and laughed, giving a thumbs-up. “She’s right. Everyone knows.“
Iris winked at Stella.
“And Sylvie’s the best aunt,” Stella said.
She walked behind Sylvie and wrapped her arms around her neck
“Do you smell that?” Nadia suddenly asked, breaking the warm mood.
“Smell what, Aunt Nadia?”

“Strong jealousy.”
Stella leaned on her shoulder. “Sorry, Aunt Nadia. You’re the best aunt too.”
“You’re my idol,” Iris said, refilling her glass.
Amelia cleared her throat elegantly, holding her wine. “Mirror, mirror-who’s the best sister in the world?
“You are, Amelia!” everyone answered in unison.
The room filled with joyful laughter.
“These girls are such peacemakers,” Sylvie said with a smile.
“Mrs. Cross, the stylists are here,” the butler reported.
“And the dresses?”
“Also here.”
Stella nodded. “Let them rest first.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Stella clapped her hands. “Ladies, let’s go pick dresses!”
“I’ll sit this one out,” Sylvie said.
“Aunt Sylvie, I prepared many for you. Come try,” Stella insisted.
Nadia said, pulling Sylvie up. “We women stay elegant and beautiful forever. No age limits.”
They all went to the dress area.
“Wow! Did you bring an entire fashion show here?” Iris exclaimed, touching the dresses happily.
“Pick any you like. We’ll get ready after lunch tomorrow. I have stylists for everyone.”
“But it’s your anniversary. We don’t want to steal your spotlight,” Tess said.
Every dress and piece of jewelry was luxurious.
