Chapter 380 Sour Like Lemon

“Which driving school?”

“You want to sign up together?”

“Yeah.”

“I’ll send you my coach’s contact.”

Nicole had just picked up her phone when a call came in.

‘Hold on a second.”

Jasper nodded gently, his eyes filled with undisguised affection as he looked at her.

‘Amelia.”

asper’s heart skipped a beat. He immediately texted Amelia.

‘Nicole, I’m so bored! What are you doing? Let’s go to Disneyland!”

Nicole froze for a few seconds, glanced at Jasper, and parted her pink lips. “I thought you were busy.”

Who said I’m busy?” Amelia ignored the incoming message, planning to check after hanging up.

Nicole, what are you doing?”

I… I’m going to the movies with Jasper.”

Oh… right, you’re busy. I’m busy too. Bye.”

Nicole blinked in confusion. “Didn’t you ask them if they were free?”

‘I…” Jasper didn’t want to lie, but he couldn’t think of an explanation right away.

Nicole lowered her head and smiled quietly to herself.

“Jasper… did you want to watch the movie alone with me?”

Nicole’s bright eyes curved with a smile, warm as spring sunshine.

“Yeah.” Jasper didn’t deny it. He thought it wouldn’t be bad to let her know his feelings little by little

“That’s nice.” With that, Nicole quickened her steps, her cheeks slightly pink, a bright smile on her face.

Jasper froze for several seconds, then strode after her with a joyful, dazzling smile. “Nicole, wait for me!”

Nicole looked back at him, her eyes shining like stars.

She suddenly stopped. Jasper almost lost his balance-or rather, he didn’t want to stop at all.

As he was about to bump into her, Nicole’s eyes widened, her lips parted, and she stood frozen.

Jasper instinctively wrapped one arm around her waist and placed the other against the nearby pillar to steady both of them.

Nicole leaned backward, staring up at his face inches away. Her breath seemed to stop.

Hearing the footsteps and whispers around them, Nicole blushed deeply and tried to stand up. In her panic and nervousness, she crashed into his chest.

She tilted her head up. Their eyes met, and everything seemed to stand still.

She pushed Jasper away and glanced at the onlookers.

“The floor is so slippery! Thank you for catching me. Bye, you’ll get good luck!” She ran away without ooking back.

“That handsome guy saved her! She should ask for his number!”

‘She’s so shy-her ears are burning!”

Jasper watched her fleeing back, the corners of his mouth lifting in a tender, indulgent smile.

‘Can I have your number?” a girl asked boldly.

‘No. My future girlfriend would get jealous.”

He hurried after her, a constant smile on his face, radiating happiness.

Nicole was buying milkshakes and popcorn. Jasper paid right away.

She glanced at him, said nothing, handed him two cups of milkshake, and held the popcorn

“Nicole… you were shy just now, weren’t you?”

“Who said that?”

He leaned down slightly and whispered close to her ear, “Your ears turned red.”

herself.

His warm breath brushed against her skin. Nicole’s heart raced. She quickly thought of a trick. “I wasn’t shy! The cashier is just really, really good-looking.”

Jasper’s smile froze instantly.

He glanced coldly at the cashier. The sharp look was hard to miss. The boy looked over, confused, checking behind him but seeing no one.

“See? Isn’t he handsome?”

“Not really.”
