The Heiress With Seven Secret Identities
Chapter 59 Unwavering Support
Stella arched an eyebrow, a faint blush creeping across her face.

The moment hung there, sweet and uncertain. Nobody said a thing, but Elias understood–he had the green light.
“Let me help you with the Moore family situation.”
Stella looked up at him and shook her head. “I appreciate that, but I need to handle this myself.”
“You do what you have to do. Just know I’ve got your back no matter what.”
Everyone in Azure Peak City knew exactly what it meant when Elias made that kind of promise.
Stella wouldn’t pretend she wasn’t impressed. She took a sip of her coffee, pressed her lips into a small smile, and said, “Okay.”

Imperial Crest Towers.
“You wanted to see me?”
Tess pushed the door open and stepped inside.
Stella set down the patient file and raised a hand slightly, motioning for her to take a seat.
“The Moore family crossed a line. They exposed who I am and they’ve been spreading lies about me. Lo into it.”
Tess‘ eyes lit up, her voice carrying a hint of excitement. “Looks like the Shaw Foundation’s getting anoth donation.”
Her boss had a thing for taking money from rich people who ran their mouths and using it to help those who couldn’t afford medical care.
“I’ll shut it down fast.”
Tess knew better than anyone that if word got out Stella was the mysterious doctor everyone kept whispering about, they’d never have peace again,
“Good.”
Stella gave a small nod. “Any word on the Harlow family?”
“Ruby’s been reaching out everywhere trying to find you. She wants you to forgive her so Derek’s sentence gets reduced.”
Stella’s mouth curved into a cold smile, her eyes turning to ice, “I’m not signing anything. Also, if anyone else wants to press charges against White Pit Village and needs legal help offer them assistance. No strings
attached.”

“Got it.”
Tess nodded and kept going. “Jasmine lost the baby. The Thorne family’s caving to public pressur planning to go through with the marriage.”
“Okay.”
Stella’s expression didn’t shift.
“The defamation suits Silas and Jasmine keep losing, plus everything else they’ve done, has trashed Peak University’s reputation. Over two thousand people have signed a petition demanding they ge expelled.”
She smiled faintly. “Not surprised.”
Stella handed her several files and said warmly, “Get in touch with these patients‘ families. Set up tir me to visit.”
“Will do.”
As Tess was leaving, an email came through.
The date was set: the world’s most celebrated living composer was coming to Azure Peak City for the International Music Festival.
She glanced at the bare wall in her study, and for once, her typically composed face softened into something like happiness.
On that wall was a drawing of a violin and a piano.
When she was small, she never got the chance to take lessons.
Then one day, her mother took a charred stick from the fireplace and drew a piano and violin on the w
She’d sat with Stella for hours, explaining how music worked, how notes fit together, how sound could carry feeling. Stella would practice her finger placements on that drawing, day after day.
Those were the best days of her life.
Stella walked over to the wall, squeezed her eyes shut, and moved her slender fingers across it like she wa playing, each note forming clearly in her mind.
She missed her mom.
Over at Thorne Villa, every light was on. Nobody could sleep.
“That little tramp Stella has gone too far. Look what she’s done to Silas.“,
Hearing that her son might actually get thrown out of school, Elaine broke down sobbing, completely falling apart.

Fin!
Arthur hadn’t said a word since they’d left the restaurant.
“Grandpa, you have to help me.”
Silas was drowning in regret.
Why had he been so stupid? He’d had the perfect girlfriend and threw her away for that trafficker’s daughter.
Now the family was falling apart, his future was hanging by a thread, and he had to marry Jasmine. He wanted to go back six months and knock some sense into himself.
“Arthur, marrying that Jasmine girl is humiliating enough. Do we really have to keep eating dirt?”
Elaine was crying, barely holding it together.
Arthur narrowed his eyes, shaking his head slowly.
“Grandpa? What is it?”
“Silas, the man Stella’s with–who is he?”
“Just her boyfriend, I guess.”
Silas shrugged it off.
Arthur closed his eyes. He had to be overthinking this.
“Go see the Moore family’s daughter tomorrow. Silas is about to graduate–he can’t get expelled now.”
Elaine froze for a second.
She’d met Amber before, but that girl came from serious money. They’d exchanged maybe ten words total. But for her son’s sake, she’d have to try.
“As for Jasmine, forget about her.”
Silas tossed that out before storming off angrily.
Arthur called his assistant. “Look into someone for me. A man surnamed Cross.”
He clenched his fists. If that man had any connection to the Cross family, the Thornes would never climb back up from this.
Early morning at Cloudreach Manor.
Jax woke to a sound like an animal caught in a trap.
Half–asleep, he vaguely thought the voice sounded familiar. He’d just rolled over when his eyes snapped open, his brain kicking into gear so fast he forgot to bi cathe for a few seconds.

He threw off the covers, jumped out of bed, didn’t even stop for shoes–just ran downstairs barefoot f than he’d ever moved in his life.
“Uncle, did somebody hurt you or what?”
Elias was clutching that box of pastries, his eyes burning with pure fury.
“Who ate the pastries from this box?”
His voice came out like ice water, freezing everything it touched.
Jax stood frozen solid.
After a long moment, he managed to squeak out, not daring to meet his uncle’s eyes. “I’ll buy you a new box.”
