On Fire novel Chapter 3

I finally understood why Molly who would always snatch the VIP rooms from me would generously give me this room. She knew that these people were ruffians.

The ladies in the rooms all worked under me. If something happened, I would lose my position as the manager and might be getting myself into some trouble.

Things were getting rowdy in the room. A few men yanked some girls forcefully over with a nasty smile on their face.

These bastards!

I was going crazy. I glanced to the side and saw a half-broken bottle of alcohol by the trash can. I picked it up without hesitation. The part where it broke off was sharp as a blade and was flickering under the faint light.

“Don’t touch me, let go of me. Let go of me!”

The crying and pleading noises coming from the room was making me rage. The fatso sounded so haughty and bossy, he was ordering his bootlicking underlings to be as rough as they wanted to.

I knew that they were shit-faced and hence any rational words wouldn’t go through them right now.

The hatred in my soul was burning. I held the broken bottle and stomped into the room angrily.

“Barbara!”

The ladies all hid behind me the moment they saw me. I was like a hen protecting her chicks as I put my hand up, protecting them from the front. My nose stung seeing the terrified look on their faces.

“Go out!”
