One Night Stand novel Chapter 24

Javier’s POV

While most women would have leaped at an offer to dine with the assistant CEO, Gabby scowled, knitted her brows, swiftly shifted her expression to smiling and searched for an excuse to refuse the invitation, and walked away without giving him another opportunity to arrange another meeting.

I knew she was still around since we were catering for her and her staff. So I went to my suite to change. I was dressed in track trousers and a vest. I phoned the hotel management and requested him to send someone to my room with a bottle of wine and two glasses. Someone came to my door after five minutes and handed me the wine. I exited my apartment and went to Gabriella's. When I arrived at her suite, I saw her reclining on the sofa, chatting on the phone. It's as though she forgot to shut the door. I walked in and shut the door. I didn't want to interrupt her phone conversation. "I love you, sweetie," she said. Don't be concerned; Saturday will be all about you and me. Give Grandma the phone. Grandma, it seems that I will not be returning anytime soon. I'll be returning on Friday.

"Is it good if I pick him up on Sunday?"

I overheard her giggle and the words "Monday." She didn't appear to realize that she wasn't alone. I observed her take off her shoes and go to the restroom, returning with just her panties and bra. What I was seeing astounded me. I was there, delighted with my stiff member when she walked inside.

For God's sake, Javier, she's not nude; she's simply wearing panties and a bra. How many bras and panties have you seen? Get hold of yourself.

I got myself a glass of wine and sat beside the sofa, hoping she wouldn't strip nude as soon as she realized she wasn't alone. My glass of wine had run dry before she completed her bath, so I rose and went to grab another glass; I turned to return to my former seat. She walked naked to the closet as the bathroom door slipped open. Water trickled down her wet body and fell to the floor.
