Javier’s POV
I assumed we were brothers, but you have kept silent to this day. After realizing that you were the boyfriend, my life descended into chaos. I told you a lot of stuff. How could you maintain a straight face in front of me when you were in pain? I didn’t want her, you knew that. You were well aware of my intentions with her from the outset. The day I cooked the final barbecue at my home was the day I spotted you two fucking in my house’s storage room. I wasn’t upset; I simply wanted the two of you to tell me the truth. That same day, I met the love of my life, a woman who has revolutionized my perspective on love. She was innocent and youthful, and I never expected a little girl to alter me, but Gabriella did. So down to earth, but after meeting her, I was in an accident and we lost touch; I went looking for her, but she was pregnant and dropped out of school while carrying my Xavier; we met again, and I proposed to her; she is the lady I want to marry.
Sandra, I will not marry you. I did not purchase the ring you are wearing. I wasn’t even the one who slipped it on your ring finger. My grandma was also aware of your affairs, but she did not inform me. She wanted you to stay, but I don’t want you. I’ve never attempted it. I did at one time, but after doing a background check on you, I decided I didn’t want you. I desired you just for what every other female had given me. We can both count the number of times we’ve slept together. God is my witness. It’s not up to ten, and ten is a far larger number. I will not sit here and embarrass you, but you did a lot of heinous things to get roles. I had a feeling there was a lot more to you than what caught the eye. I exhaled a breath of relief. Then I heard Ethan say something.
“I knew you knew years ago, but I didn’t know how to tell my brother and tell him I’d been banging the girl for years. You asked what I would do if I discovered your best buddy had cheated on your partner. I was aware of it that day, but I didn’t know how to confront it. I knew you didn’t know, but I didn’t want to harm you, even though I knew she meant nothing to you. And when you stopped sleeping with her, I knew you cherished us more than anything else.”
“What do you and your daughter want, Mrs. Williams? Recognition. I’ve been seeing your daughter brazenly hurl herself at me for years, but believe me when I say she’s beautiful, but not what I can wed. Anyway, I just needed to clear the air. Between us and you, there would be no weeding. Sandra, I never proposed to you. To address your query, which has been bothering me for months, my grandma purchased it and gave it to you. I’ve proposed to the woman I’d want to marry.”
“You’re lying, you’re mine. Javier, you’re mine. I’m sorry about Ethan. I don’t care for him. I’m solely interested in you. My darling, you are mine. Please confirm that you trust me.” Mrs. Williams jumped up and said, “We’re going,” pulling her daughter after her, as Sandra shrieked, “You’re mine, Javier, I’ll hunt your little bitch, I’ll make you pay!!!”
