'Emma you know how to tie your shoe laces ... so no more help...' I said in a mom tone

Emma replied ' ok mama'

' wheres Aria ' n I found her watching cartoons 

' Aria come here ... we are getting late for school...' she came running 

N said ' Look mama I wear my school clothes without help'

I just smiled ... she did wear the shirt but the buttons were put so wrongly

I said ' oh wow... such a big girl but let be put buttons in their place....'

I said to both girls ' ok girls come let me do your hair ... so who is first?'

Emma said she wants first... emma hair is just like emily light blonde so I secure it with a high pony tail

I make both side braid of Aria brown blonde hair ... n finally they were ready

Alex was waiting for them....

Emma nagged n said ' its so unfair ...Aria will be back in 3 hours n I have to be back in noon '

I replied ' because she just started the school n you in prep so timing changed baby'

Usually driver drive them to school but he has gone home for family emergency.... I started dropping them but it becomes too hectic for me ... so I reluctantly asked Alex to drop girls in the morning but I will pick them afterward ..... Alex says he has no problem but I told him that Aria school is two block left to emma he become still like he remember that Aria is also going to school.... I don't want to make things more difficult between Aria n him so I said I will drop them its no problem but alex stopped me n said he will dropped them in morning .... so this is the first morning Alex is going to drop them

Alex saw us coming n said ' ready !'

I said ' yup just let me put them in their car seats'

I said to emma ' Emma eat your lunch'

Emma ' okkkk mama'

I kissed my both girls ... then I give Alex his office bag n kissed his cheek ...n said goodbye ... I hope everything goes well.

Both girls was chatting n I was waiting for traffic light to turn green

Emma said ' I got A on spelling test.... what you got'

Aria thought a little ' I know 1 to 15 counting and a star on my writing' 

Emma said ' silly thats it ... I know all the counting... '

Aria replied ' because you're five n im three tomorrow....n miss rose says im pretty with pretty brain'

I just smiled at her reply..

Emma ' im more pretty than you...you stupid .... daddy tell her? '

I said ' ok girls enough ... don't fight... n emma dont use such words... '

Emma said ' Sorry '

I stopped at emma school ... I unbuckled her seats n picked her .. kissed her n says goodbye ' bye baby '

I started my car again ... n start taking route to my office ... when I heard voice ' Daddy'

I looked at Aria ' shit' I forget she was there too

' shit' Aria said

Fuck whats wrong with me to use such words in front of three year old...

' ok don't say this its a bad word'

Emma excitedly run.... Aria saw her daddy that puts a big smile in her face n she run to him like emma ... I tired to stop her like always but she never lose hope ... 

Aria said ' hello daddy' n put her hands in air ... indicating that she wants to be picked like emma 

Alex looked at her strangely then he said ' good evening Aria ' in his emotionless voice

Aria face dropped n she looked so confused ... my heart breaks for her every time ... she run to me n hide her face behind my leg .... like she is embarrassed her daddy ignore her again... I gently picked her n kissed her cheeks ... why Alex why ... after all this time when she gets a little attention from you ... you take away from her again.

Alex looked at me awkwardly n said ' im going to take a shower ' n then he was gone

Dinner was silent except Emma was chatting about her day n Aria was quite 

Emma said ' I want to eat chocolates '

I replied ' no ... you are not ... first dinner then sweets ok'

' but mama..' emma fussed

Aria also replied ' I don't want to eat ... '

Emma said ' Looked mama we both want to eat chocolates '

I replied ' emma ... I told you first dinner'

Emma said ' no im going to eat chocolates first.. come Aria'

I replied ' Emma ... don't misbehave ... its bad manner n dont teach that to your small sister ... you are big sister she learn things from you'

Alex angrily replied ' n who are you to say this to my daughter ... I know thats bad manner but kate don't use this tone in front of her again .. use it with your daughter n teach her all manner you want'

I looked shocked at Alex .... how dare he... after all this he is asking who the hell im to emma... I can't control my tears n they start falling ... I said ' excuse me'

And with that I left the table .

I was in my room ... n I cried ... Alex can say this to me I can't believe that... nothing is change ... im the second best always ..
