Chapter 754
Catelyn pulled open the door and was shocked to see Grandpa Mason and Uncle Ford standing in the doorway.
Grandpa Mason looked hostile and glared at her with malevolence.
In his hands was a stack of photos...
Catelyn immediately understood that he was there to interrogate her and was somewhat amused by this scene. Grandpa Mason did not go after the person who he should be going after, but instead was here bugging their happy family incessantly.
Cedrick followed to see what was going on. He said lazily with one hand in his pocket, "Grandpa."
"Care to explain these photos?" Grandpa Mason ignored Cedrick, his dark eyes locked onto Catelyn.
Catelyn composed her thoughts, then smiled, and explained, "It was a misunderstanding, I was framed by my colleagues. Nine happened to pass by and support me. The photos were carefully edited by people with intentions. Grandpa, you are a smart person. You must be able to tell what is right or wrong."
"You don't have to flatter me. I won't buy it!" Grandpa Mason interjected Catelyn coldly, and his tone was even more hostile.
Of course, he knew about Maribel framing Catelyn. This was already widespread on the internet.
However, the photos...
He could not stand it.
"You are Ced's wife, but you are hooking up with other men. I cannot allow this! Whatever you said are all excuses. I only believe in what I saw in the photo. Not only are you hooking up with Nine, but you are not even discreet about it..."
Catelyn paused for a few seconds, then only said slowly, "So you admit I am Ced's wife now?"
Grandpa Mason choked, and his frustration grew. He stomped his walking stick and said, "Stop talking nonsense! I am here to tell you today that Miss Atherton has been found. My next step is to get Cedrick and her married. If you understand the assignment, you should be filing for a divorce. I can tolerate you being a mistress for your kids..."
Miss Atherton had been found, and he wanted her to be a mistress?
Quinn Weir deserved this?
Catelyn did not say anything but merely looked straight into Grandpa Mason's eyes.
Grandpa Mason saw that she was not replying, then raised his voice, "Do you agree to this or not?"
"No," Cedrick replied on behalf of Catelyn.
Cedrick raised his eyebrows and then asked Grandpa Mason, "The kids are still here. Let's go downstairs and discuss this?"
"You follow me downstairs too. I have something to discuss with you too!" Grandpa Mason did not want to tarnish his own image in his grandsons' eyes and therefore gave in to Cedrick's suggestion.
Cedrick patted Catelyn's shoulder, hinting at her to look after the kids and not to worry about him, then followed Grandpa Mason.
When they reached the bottom of the stairs, a cool breeze gushed past them. Grandpa Mason held one of his hands into a fist and placed it over his mouth. He coughed lightly. His silhouette looked frail.
