"My baby boo~! I’m so scared here~! Huhuhu! Do you know they tried to ditch me in the ocean to die?! Cruel! Very sad! Avenge me—and I need a hug! Anyway, we’re going to land on the nearest island and maybe grab some snacks. Please tell Yugi to track us down. I think Mark managed to slap something in here to keep tracking us. See ya~! Please buy me some cheeseburgers if you’re coming~! Love love love love you~!!"
What followed Penny’s voice was complete silence.
Everyone in Prime Group just stared at the big screen in the front in disbelief. Here they were, working overtime to save her, and she was going to do what?
"Check her location," Yugi muttered, shaking his head. "Just to be sure."
"Uh." The rows of men nodded and quickly got back to work, waiting for a lead on where the call had originated.
The rest followed suit, pretending they hadn’t just heard their boss talk like a lovesick teenager. That wasn’t the Penny they knew! She was shameless and full of antics, sure—but this sweet?
They shouldn’t have listened had they known Penny would sabotage her own image with just a few sentences.
"Still, I’m glad she’s safe," they whispered to themselves, secretly heaving a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the sky, a few people who had been listening to the message raised their brows.
"That didn’t sound like someone who was abducted," muttered one of the Homeland Security agents, glancing at the men strapped across from him.
"Cheeseburgers, huh?" another repeated in disbelief. "Yep. Real cry for help."
As they processed the transmission, they all turned their heads to the front of the aircraft, where their boss’s voice cut through the hum of the engine.
"Hah! That Zoren Pierson..." Mint’s voice shook with restrained fury, her grip tightening around the device in her hand. Even though her men were at the back of the aircraft, they could feel the heat radiating off her.
"After this... it’s going to be a duel," she hissed, eyes blazing. "I’ll throw the glove at his face—this relationship is too crowded!"
Hugo, seated beside the fuming Mint, covered his face with one hand.
"Ah, God..." he exhaled, tension finally leaving his chest. "I’m so glad she’s safe."
His shoulders relaxed, and his stiff expression softened. Ever since receiving that call from Yugi, Hugo hadn’t been able to breathe properly. His heart had been racing nonstop.
But now—just hearing Penny’s voice—he could finally breathe.
"Thank God," he whispered, the corners of his eyes turning red. For a moment, he had truly thought he’d lost his sister.

In another private aircraft, Slater listened to the message and clasped a hand over his chest.
"Thank God," he muttered, eyes forward as he piloted the aircraft he’d borrowed from his agency. Good thing James had always invested in him—or maybe just barely resisted his constant begging.
"Penny..." Slater whispered, eyes still focused on the clouds ahead as Penny’s voice echoed through the headset. He glanced down at the small device Mint had thrown to him earlier.
It displayed the same signal feed that the others were using to track Penny’s location in real time.
At this point, it was a race: who would reach her first—the rescue team or the enemy?
"I should go ahead," he told himself, steering the aircraft sharply and beginning a reroute.
