Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 1200

Shayne hired three young and healthy nannies to help with breastfeeding Little Jonathan.

Little Jonathan grew up healthily.

The child did not have Yanny’s rare blood type and had a positive blood type instead. Little Jonathan was in a good state of health and it was relatively easy to provide for him.

Yanny did not have much too worry about.

Yanny though, had to stay in the hospital for quite some time before she finally got discharged.

Her body was frail because she suffered a great loss of blood during labour. Hence, Shayne did not want Yanny to take care and provide for the child.

It was a good thing that they have gotten help from the nannies. Yanny did not have to get up in the middle of the night to breastfeed.

On the day that Little Jonathan turned one-month old, Old Master Jinn held a splendid party to celebrate the big occasion.

The news about Yanny who birthed a son named Jonathan Jinn spread like wildfire across the whole town.

Jonathan, a name which carried the meaning of ‘gift from God’.

It was a lovely name.

People were speculating that the child would grow up into someone like his dad, a notorious rebel.

Just by hearing the name itself got people feeling fretful.

To be fair, the child was indeed extraordinary.

When Little Jonathan turned three, he asked his dad, “Daddy, do you love me?”

His dad replied nonchalantly, “I love your mom more.”

Feeling discouraged, Little Jonathan sat alone on the stairs of the backyard. With his small hands holding up his chin, he went into a deep contemplation.

He then ran over to ask his mom, “Mommy, why did you give birth to me?”

His mom replied, “Because I didn’t want your dad to be ridiculed by his friends for not having a child.”

Little John pondered to himself, ‘I knew it… I am just redundant…’

That day, Little Jonathan carried his piggy bank and took some cash from his dad’s wallet and stuffed it into his bag. He then ran away from home.

Oh, and he also packed his favourite figurines.

At last, when Shayne and Yanny finally found Little Jonathan, he was at his aunt's place playing with his cousin’s sister.

With a stern and cold face, Shayne grabbed him by his back collar, carried him over to Yanny and questioned, “Why did you run away from home?”

Jonathan replied, “I didn’t want to disturb the two of you.”

Yanny was worried at first, but after listening to her son’s words, she held back her laughter and said, “But you didn’t have to run away from home. You could have just stayed in your room to play.”

Staring at his beautiful mom, Jonathan asked sulkily, “Mom, why aren’t you crying when you knew that I ran away from home?”

He recalled the time when he ‘kidnapped’ the Fudd siblings to play with him, and when Uncle Heaton and Aunt Verian finally located the siblings, Aunt Verian almost cried while holding on to Little Jelly Bean.

Little Jonathan really liked his mom. He had not met anyone who was as pretty as his mom since he was born. Even compared to Aunt Verian, his mom was much prettier.

However, he had always felt that the love his mom showed him was way lesser compared to the love that his mom had shown to his dad.

Harrison was right about how the parents were madly in love but having a child was merely unintended.

Little Jonathan felt that he was just a slip-up.

Crouching down to her son’s eye level, Yanny comforted, “Mommy believed that you were smart enough to not get lost. You even took a big stash of cash from your daddy’s wallet, so I figured that you might have gone out to have some fun.”

Shyane snorted coldly and took a glance at the shortie next to his legs. “Exactly. Also, this wasn’t your first time running away from home, so let me help you refresh your memory. The first time you ran away, you went to the Fudd family and had Harrison play video games with you. When your mom and I came to get you, you didn’t want to leave. The second time you ran away to Lucas’ house and asked for a meal, as Lucas’s wife was a good cook, hence you asked her to cook several meals for you. The third time, you followed Little Jelly Bean and Harrison to the mall to play on the claw machines, and you fellas almost won most of the toys in the machine. The store owner wasn’t happy because you guys didn’t have enough money and he had to call the adults over to settle the debt. Now tell me, when was the time that you really ran away from home? Admit it son, running away from home is just an excuse that you use to sneak out and play.”

“...”

It was indeed the father who understood their son the best.

Jonathan held up his small face and looked at his dad. He uttered innocently, “Daddy, to be honest, I wanted attention from both you and mommy. Hence, I ran away from home so that you and mom could spare me some of your attention.”

Shayne reached out and gently hit the back of his son’s head. “I’d be a fool to believe your words.”

“...”
