Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 1203

After Jonathan exited the hospital, he did not return to school. He skipped class for the entire afternoon and went to an internet cafe to play games with Wayne Clark and his gang. When he was about to head home, the sky had turned dark.

Jonathan posted a status on whatsapp. [Sigh, after a day of school, I’m having a headache. Time to go home.]

When Wayne saw that status, he doubled over laughing.

[Wayne: Bro, you actually study? This is unheard of.]

[Jimmy: Was that person gaming with us in the internet cafe your clone?]

Jonathan rolled his eyes at those comments. What do they know? That status was posted for his parents’ eyes.

After putting his phone away, Jonathan slung his black backpack over his shoulder and walked away coolly with his hands in his pockets, heading toward the railway station.

Recently, his sports bike was confiscated by his father. His father said that a high school kid driving a sports bike was unsightly.

Hence, Jonathan had to resort to his legs as a mode of transportation.

Just as Jonathan arrived at the first gate of line three, he was blocked off by several highschoolers.

“Jonathan, it’s such a small world. I didn’t expect myself to be so lucky to meet you here!”

“Since we’ve met, then it’s about time to settle our old debts!”

Shayne looked at the leader of the group. It was an old enmity back from his days in the North City Foreign Language High School.

Nathanael was the ringleader of the thugs back in North City Foreign Language High School. However, ever since Jonathan transferred over, he quickly took over Nathanael’s spot as the ringleader as he was constantly in the limelight. Nathanael held his grudge and often secretly had his followers ambush Jonathan.

Jonathan swept a glance at the vicinity of the railway station. He looked up and saw the camera.

It was inconvenient for him to cause a violent scene or his father might send him to the juvenile detention center.

Nathanael pointed at Jonathan smugly, then shoved him in the chest. Noticing the First North City High School uniform on Jonathan, he said in a condescending manner, “Jonathan Jinn, I heard you’ve transferred to First North City High School and turned into a good boy. If you kneel before me and call me daddy, I might let you off if I’m in a good mood.”

Jonathan placed both his hands in his pockets, then signalled toward a dark alley in the distance. Raising his eyebrows, he said, “There’s a dark alley over there. I’ll let you guys have a go at me. How about that?”

Nathanael and his underlings were caught off guard, and it was immediately followed by fits of laughter. “Jonathan, how long was it since we last met? I didn’t think you would turn into such a sensible person! Let Daddy here give you a good beating. If you beg me and my mood is good, I’ll take you in as an underling! In the future, I’ll bring you along!”

Nathanael reached out and patted Jonathan on the head, pushing down firmly several times. It was a blatant attempt to humiliate him.

A deathly glare flashed through Jonathan’s eyes. He lowered his handsome face slightly and said coldly, “Only my father dares to pat my head like that.”

Nathanael was taken aback for a moment, then arrogantly patted Jonathan’s head a few more times. “Daddy loves to pat your head like this! From now on, I’m your daddy!”

Jonathan scoffed, “Cut the crap and head to the dark alley. I need to rush for the last train. If you want to beat me up, get it over and done with. I don’t have much time.”

The group went into the dark alley.

Jonathan stood at the entrance to the alley and threw his black backpack on the ground in a carefree manner. He unzipped his school clothes and threw his proper school clothes onto the floor. He casually looked down at the black sports mechanical watch on his wrist nonchalantly and said, “The last train is at 11:30p.m. It’s only 11:15p.m. and now we have fifteen minutes remaining. Do you want a one-on-one fight, or all of you come at me at once?”

Nathanael bellowed arrogantly, “One-on-one? Hahaha… against you, we’re definitely going with… group fight! Brothers, go get him! There are no CCTVs here, so go all out! Beat him until he calls me Daddy!”

Bang, bang, bang.

One punch each.

In the dark alley, there was a yellowish brown flash that illuminated the dirty surface of the old wall.

Within the black silhouette, it was one against five. The five thugs were sent flying out of the alley by Jonathan with a single punch each.

On the dirty floor, the five thugs were stacked up like pancakes as they let out painful moans like pigs in the slaughterhouse.

Five minutes passed.

They were knocked out, absolutely trampled.

Jonathan bent over to pick up his school uniform and dusted it. He flipped his hand and dangled the uniform over his right shoulder, then picked up his black backpack from the floor, casually slinging it over his left shoulder, posing like some proud thug.

“Jonathan! Y-y-you didn’t keep to your words!”

Jonathan frowned slightly. “What’s that?”

Nathanael, who was squished at the bottom of the stack, raised his head with great difficulty. He stared at Jonathan with angry but fearful eyes and said, “You said you'd let us beat you up! How can you hit your Daddy?”

Jonathan appeared to have contemplated for a moment and said, “At first I was only getting beaten up. After all, after acting like a coward for so long, I can’t just let my efforts be wasted. However, you guys are really unlucky that I’ve just broken my streak this afternoon by slamming some little girl’s head. Since I’m going to get beaten up anyway, I might as well teach you numbskulls a lesson. Otherwise, it’s just not worth it.”

“Jerk! Shameless! You even bully a little girl!” Nathanael shouted.

Jonathan squatted down, looking down at Nathanael. “Call me Daddy.”

Nathanael muttered, “D-D-Daddy!”

Jonathan asked, “Do you still dare to pat Daddy on the head next time?”

Nathanael cowardly replied, “N-N-Never again.”

Jonathan smiled as he raised his wrist. Checking the time, it was 11:25p.m.

The young man strode away from the alley. He flicked his school uniform slinging on his shoulder casually over his head. “I need to take the last train home. If you run into me again next time, I advise that you take a detour! Beating you up is just like squishing ants.”

The young man was prideful and brash. Paired with the unearthly good looks, he was both mischievous and brilliant.

Even a plain First North City High School uniform on him would seem extraordinarily domineering.
