Please Be Gentle With Me Mr Grant novel Chapter 151

“Do you believe me now? Since you said you are interested in painting, perhaps I can teach you how to paint,” Peter joked.

“That’s great,” replied Blanca at once.

“Wait, are you serious?” asked Peter in mild surprise. He didn’t expect her to say yes so readily. He was the last pupil of Mr. Butler. Because of this, many girls, mostly art students, tried to approach him to look for some shortcut to increase their popularity. But he knew Blanca was totally different. Looking at the girl in front of him, young and innocent, Peter laughed lightly, for Blanca trusted him so easily, without suspecting his intentions.

In fact, as he thought, Blanca just wanted to learn something so she could draw better. She had seen Peter’s excellent skills and knew this might be a good opportunity to improve herself.

Blanca looked adoringly at Peter and asked, “Is what you said true? You learned from Mr. Butler? Are you sure you want to teach me?” She liked drawing since she had been a child, but there was no opportunity to learn painting in a slum at all. Luckily, an old painter had lived next her home once. So, she had learned a superficial knowledge of painting from him, but he had moved away shortly after. Although she yearned to learn more, she had never got another chance.

“Of course, it’s true. Are you sure you are really interested in painting?” said Peter.

“Sure enough! I really like drawing. Can you help me, Peter?” Blanca looked expectantly at Peter, her eyes sparkling. Her family had been poor and couldn’t afford her paintbrushes when she had been a kid. So, she had no choice but to teach herself to sketch with a pencil. After years of trying, she was good at painting portraits and drawing cartoon. Only when she was drawing, she could feel the joy in her heart.

“But, why should I help you when we’ve only met twice,” Peter joked.
