Please Be Gentle With Me Mr Grant novel Chapter 232

Blanca had butterflies in her stomach.

She was getting more and more nervous.

Since Matthew and Malinda were so close, he would be mad at her if she said a bad word about her, right? And he would definitely take Malinda’s side.

“Nothing,” Blanca smiled and said hastily, “I’m gonna take a shower. It’s been a long day.”

Before Matthew could say anything, she grabbed her clothes and went into the bathroom. He could hear the noises of her showering.

He just kept listening the shower sounds and didn’t do anything.

He knew what Blanca was suspecting about. But...she didn’t say anything and he didn’t know why she didn’t.

After a while, Matthew went to the study.

Seeing the shadow outside the door was gone through the frosted glass, Blanca was finally relived. She hadn’t taken off her clothes and had just turned on the shower to cover up her nervousness.

After she calmed herself down, she took a shower and found out Matthew hadn’t come back when she went out of the bathroom. She silently went into bed.

Then she got a message from Fiona. She wanted Blanca to help drawing some cartoon characters and she invited her to their party. Blanca said yes about the cartoon characters but then she said, “I wish I could, but I don’t know most of the people in the party.”

“Please come, Blanca. I thought you always wanted to see around the campus, isn’t it right?”

Fiona talked her through. Blanca actually wanted to go from the beginning. This girl went to the same middle school with her and got into the Oakshire University. She was incredibly smart and was an excellent student.

Back when Blanca just came to Oakshire, she wanted to visit the Oakshire University. But the security guards wouldn’t let her in if she didn’t have a student ID card. Now that she had the chance to do that, she hesitated and said yes to Fiona.

Just as she was about to put down her phone, the door was opened.

Matthew seemed to take a shower in another bathroom and walked in with steam around him.
