Blanca was feeling a bit nervous as she was seated facing Mr. Butler who was well-known in the country. Besides, she was Peter’s assistant.

Peter’s studio wasn’t huge, but it was well equipped with two suites, one on the inside and the other outside, dividing the space into three areas. The innermost area was the painting room, and there was a reception area next to it. The largest one outside was the workshop. Now Mr. Butler was sitting in the reception room and chatting with Peter.

Blanca was making them some coffee to show her hospitality, so she was standing by their side.

They finished their conversation over half an hour later. Peter glanced at Blanca, “Mr. Butler, how about we ask Blanca to help out?”

“Yeah?”

Blanca was a bit surprised. They had mentioned that Mr. Butler was planning on an art exhibition, and now Peter wanted herself to participate in it? As far as she knew, there usually would be only two people in charge of such exhibitions, and even the requirements for assistants were highly demanding.

Blanca had no experience before.

“Can Miss Roach pull it off?” Mr. Butler glanced at Blanca with a complicated look in his eyes, but Blanca didn’t notice it at the moment, Mr. Butler assumed that Blanca would be unhappy, so he quickly explained, “I didn’t mean that Miss Roach might mess up, it’s just that...”

Blanca never thought he wasn’t just saying - now hearing what he just had said, she could feel the warmth fill her heart.

Peter did remember... He was such a nice guy.

“Mr. Butler, I promise you I will make an all-out effort to assist Peter so your art exhibition will turn out great!” Blanca gave out her promise excitedly.

She wasn’t sure about her relation to Mr. Butler yet. But there was one thing that she had been sure of - Mr. Butler had everything to do with the pendant that would help her prove her identity.
