Brad couldn't answer Evelyn's question.

To be honest, he'd never paid attention to Sean. Throughout these six years, Nadine had been raising Sean on her own. Brad had done nothing at all in that sense.

Of course, to him, he'd done his best. Sean wasn't his own son. He married Nadine and took her and Sean into his care. He'd also given them a title so that society wouldn't look down on them.
