Sitting alone at the dinner table, she stared at the sumptuous meal without appetite.

She looked back and saw Archie still on the phone, with his back to her.

Although Felix didn’t make it clear on the phone what he was calling for, Natalia sensed instinctively that it was something of great significance.

Otherwise, proud Felix would never come to Archie.

So thinking, Natalia cast her eyes down, feeling a trace of alarm.

Before long, Archie finished the call.

Seeing him back, Natalia asked immediately, “What happened? What did Felix call you for?”

Archie cast a calm look at her, handed back her phone, and said, “Let’s finish the meal, and then I’ll tell you.”

Natalia was choked by his words.

She grew more curious, but said no more and continued eating.

After dinner, Natalia asked two nannies to look after the kids in the playroom and put them to bed on time.

Then she and Archie went upstairs to the bedroom.

On entering the bedroom, Archie said, “Felix wants to team up with me, saying he has found out who it was that tampered with your plane and went after you before.”

After she and Nancy had come back safely from the plane crash, they had dispatched many people there to look into the case and find out about the backstage manipulators.

Group after group of people they had sent, but there had been no news whatsoever.
