“I didn’t expect such a dramatic event to have occurred between you two before. Ava sighed, seizing the moment as Yaxley escorted Fanny away. 

Tyra ushered Angela and Sophia to sit down, asking, “Could you tell me about Fanny? Yaxley seems to have taken a liking to her for some reason.” 

Angela glanced at Sophia. If we discuss Fanny again, it’s almost as if we’re reopening Sophia’s old wounds. 

Realizing that now was not the appropriate me to delve into this matter, Tyra swiftly changed the topic. 

Sophia took a deep breath. Her emotions had been on a rollercoaster ride earlier, and she still felt a bit lightheaded.

“Mr. Leigh, Sophia has arrived in Northland,” Her tone turned hostile when she mentioned Sophia, as if she wanted to tear Sophia apart. 

Dylan was unaware of who Sophia was, prompting Fanny to provide an explanation. 

“Fanny, I cannot assist you with this at the moment.” The chaotic music in Dylan’s background ceased, and he continued. “I had previously invested a significant sum to have someone attack Yoanna. Yet, you have made no progress with Yaxley. How do you expect me to react?” 

Fanny couldn’t help but lament, “But Yoanna was unharmed after the attack!” 

She desired more than just a simple leg fracture for Yoanna. 

Dylan retorted, “Unharmed? She will be confined to the hospital for at least two weeks. Isn’t that enough? As for you, you must get engaged to Yaxley within the next two weeks!” 

Having some business dealings that required leveraging the Collier Family’s influence, Dylan had to find a way through Fanny. 

Gritting her teeth, Fanny revealed what Sophia had told Yaxley about her actions in Riverdon. This revelation alarmed Dylan.
