her words.

“Why are you so nervous if that’s not true?” Madelyn chuckled lightly. “Sebastian might not notice, but we’re both women. I won’t beat around the bush. I’ve seen through your feelings for Sebastian a long time ago. I just chose not to expose it.”

The color drained from Harriet’s face, leaving her look quite distressed.
