Juliet, although grew up in a wealthy family, paid little attention to her eating habits. On the contrary, Elvis was much more refined in his dining etiquette. Despite his underworld connections, Elvis still maintained good manners and grooming.
Upon hearing Juliet's words, Elvis paused in his movements. "This has nothing to do with you," he remarked.
Juliet pouted and continued savoring the delicious food in front of her. With a hearty appetite and a lack of pickiness, Juliet's dream of becoming a slender beauty, as popular as it may be, seemed unattainable. There was a time when she went on a diet specially to please Brantley, who disliked overweight women. She really had a tough time back then.
The aroma of meat would trigger her hunger, and she managed to shed ten pounds in a month. However, after a month, she couldn't resist indulging, resulting in not only regaining her original weight but adding another 11 pounds on top.
In the end, she had to control her diet, avoiding sweets to keep her weight in check. After all, in this day and at this age, one must not disappoint delectable cuisine!
"Elvis, you're already thirty, right? Aren't your parents anxious? Should I introduce you to a reliable girlfriend?" Juliet was quite willing to lend a helping hand in this kind of thing. Besides, if she could find Elvis a girlfriend, then Kashton wouldn't focus on matching her with Elvis anymore, and that would be a win-win situation. 'How clever I am,' she thought.
"I'm done. I'll leave first," Elvis said and wiped his mouth. "From now on, I won't give Kashton a chance to meddle."
Leaving these words behind, Elvis departed, truly taking things too lightly this time.
"Wait for me!" Juliet took a couple more bites, settled the bill with the waiter, and hurried outside.
'Damn, this man really can't handle a couple more words,' Juliet thought to herself.
In the split second before Elvis closed the door, Juliet hopped into the car.
Wiping away the grease stains from the corners of her mouth, Juliet smirked, "Give me a lift. Drive me to Septem Nightclub to pick up the car."

In the end, Carlos still drove the car to Lorenzo's. Only when Lorenzo gave his approval did he dare to act recklessly. Otherwise, he wouldn't feel at ease.
Mikayla glanced at Carlos and couldn't be bothered to say much. There was no escaping tonight. She had no intention of avoiding it anymore. As long as it was the right time, she could still accept it with Carlos.
Soon, the car stopped outside Lorenzo's clinic.
This was Mikayla's second visit to Lorenzo's clinic, and it seemed just as crowded as before.
Carlos strode with Mikayla towards the clinic without a second thought, passing through the waiting patients and into Lorenzo's office. Carlos looked at the patients who were still being treated.
"I'll be waiting next door for you," Carlos said. Lorenzo, looking puzzled, said to the patients, "Please wait for me a moment."
"Okay, Dr. Saggio." The patient weakly nodded in agreement.
Lorenzo followed Carlos and Mikayla into the adjacent room. "What brings you here?" Lorenzo asked.
Lorenzo was confused, thinking, 'They have only been married for a few days, so why do they come to me now?'
Carlos had a slight sense of impending trouble in his heart.
Mikayla, still maintaining a polite smile, said, "Could you please check my foot again to see if it's completely healed, Mr. Saggio?"
"Isn't your foot supposed to be healed by now?" Lorenzo was puzzled, as he remembered discussing this with Carlos before.
"You said her foot wasn't suitable for..." Carlos interjected with a mischievous tone.
Lorenzo suddenly understood and chuckled. "You two managed to wait until now, didn't you?" Clearing his throat, he pretended to speak seriously. "Her foot is completely fine. I have other patients waiting for me, so I won't chat with you further." With that, Lorenzo hurriedly left.
He casually made a joke just to tease Carlos, but Carlos took it seriously. If he didn't leave now, and Carlos got upset, that would spell trouble. After all, he made Carlos refrain from doing that on their wedding day.
"Wait for me here," Carlos said to Mikayla as he followed Lorenzo out.
